Former President Donald Trump is toying with the idea of “reparations” – but not for descendants of slavery from five or six generations ago. He’s talking about Americans who have been currently affected by the border crisis that was intentionally created by the Democratic Party – those victimized by murder, rape and other crimes.

In an effort to make America safe again, Trump is eyeing a federal compensation fund for victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens in the here and now – not something that is about decades-old grievances.

In a report from Just the News after they interviewed him, Trump said he wants to focus on those suffering from what he sees as the current administration’s open-border policies. He said, “I’ve met so many of the families. They’ve just been decimated by these people that are allowed to come into our country. The murderers and drug dealers and the worst people are allowed to come into our country. And they’re poisoning our country…What Biden and Kamala have done to this country is unthinkable.”

While some on the Left are still hashing out historical reparations, Trump is talking cash for those who’ve felt the sting of border crime. He likened the idea to the 9/11 victims’ fund, only this time it’s for folks impacted by criminals who’ve slipped through border patrol under Biden-Harris.

So, while the reparations debate rages on, Trump is flipping the script. The victims he wants to help aren’t linked by ancestry but by recent headlines and crimes. It’s a bold move, and in typical Trump fashion, it’s likely to make waves – because who doesn’t love a little reparations plot twist right before Election Day.
