After staging a political coup to secure Veep Kamala Harris as the Democratic presidential nominee, the Dems are still ironically calling Trump a “threat to democracy” – even though they pretty much nailed the coffin shut on that front themselves after disregarding almost 15 million voters who chose Old Man Joe as their presidential candidate to run against Orange Man Bad.
About 87% of Democratic voters chose Biden as their candidate. On the other hand, Kamala slipped into the spot with only 4,567 votes from delegates at the DNC convention.
Yes, those yelling about the Trumpster are the same crazy Dems who sidelined Joe Biden like a once- favored casserole recipe tossed out for a spicier version. And now they are lecturing the nation about preserving Democratic values. They’d be laughable if the whole thing wasn’t so absurd.
One of the morons leading the “democracy” charge is the washed-up actor, director & producer Rob Reiner who is mostly known for his character “Meathead” on the 1970’s sitcom “All in the Family.”
Reiner, who has monumental TDS and has pretty much “tweeted” insults about Trump EVERY DAY since the man came down the escalator and announced his run for the presidency, has posted on X several times over the past few days about Trump’s threats to our democracy:

Kamala got the “crown” without the contest.
The irony about the Dems and Reiner’s “democracy” comments is thicker than Kamala’s pre-rehearsed laughter at a town hall. For a party that talks endlessly about the “will of the people,” they certainly didn’t mind twisting a few arms, greasing a few palms, and ignoring a few million voters to hand Kamala the nomination.
Disregarding the primary voters, the Dem elites crowned Kamala behind closed doors in a process that was about as transparent as a smoked-glass mirror.
But that’s how Kamala’s rise to power has been – greased. Her entrance into politics was greased by sleeping with a married man, the former mayor of San Francisco Willie Brown, who was way older than her – she was 29, he was 60.
“Democracy” or just a friendly suggestion? The Democratic Party picks the candidate after they pretend to let their voters have a say.
Now, with Kamala prepped for the general election, the Democrats have shifted to warning us that Trump is the true threat to democracy. They want us to believe that the guy who actually runs in elections and was chosen by the voters is somehow more dangerous than a candidate picked by political insiders in a room we were never invited to. If that’s not hypocrisy, then I’m not sure what is.
At the end of the day, the Dems are hoping Americans don’t notice the glaring contradiction of preaching democracy while playing political puppeteer. It’s a classic case of “do as we say, not as we do.” So, as we head toward 2024, just remember: democracy matters – unless the Democrats decide it doesn’t.
