Serious question… if your spouse had Covid, would YOU be hanging around elderly people? Especially war heroes? Probably not.
But 80-year old Joe Biden doesn’t seem to care. Even though his wife Jill (who has been vaccinated and boosted about a million times) was diagnosed with Covid a day earlier, Biden still stood right next to 81-year-old Vietnam veteran Army Captain Larry Taylor, awarding him with the Medal of Honor.
Biden stood behind Taylor, maskless, and put the award around the hero’s neck. Then Biden faced him and shook his hand. Biden was as close to the dude as he is when he sniffs the heads of young girls – no social distancing at all.

Upon being questioned about Biden’s plans after his wife’s Covid diagnosis, White House Press Secretary Kareine Jean-Pierre had announced to the world at Tuesday’s press briefing that Biden would be masking up. She said, “President Biden tested negative last night for COVID-19 and tested negative again today. He’s not experiencing any symptoms.”
Jean-Pierre went on to say, “As far as the steps that he is taking: Since the President was with the First Lady yesterday, he will be masking while indoors and around people in alignment with CDC guidance. And as – as has been the practice in the past, the President will remove his mask when sufficiently distanced from others indoors and while outside as well.”
I guess old Joey didn’t get the memo. Or he forgot that they are supposed to be in fearmongering mode again so that the country masks up again regardless of any studies that say they are pretty much useless.
Either way, a normal person, with or without a mask, would avoid elderly people if their spouse had Covid. It’s just common sense.
But that’s not the only stupid/insensitive thing that President Disaster did.
Right after the handshake, Biden walked off before the ceremony was over, leaving to Taylor listening to the closing benediction alone on stage.
