That’s right. If you tuned your TV (or checked your weather app) to see what the weather was like in Michigan the last few days, you wouldn’t have just gotten information about rain, thunderstorms or gale warnings, you would have also seen an “Air Quality Alert” issued by the National Weather Service (NWS), who operates under the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) who operates under the Department of Commerce.

That would be Biden’s National Weather Service – because as with every other governmental department under the Democrats, the NWS has become a bastion of wokeness, espousing Democrat party talking points on climate change and DEI rhetoric.

If you watch The Weather Channel on TV, you will see all kinds of climate change programs, specials and editorials because they are “all in” on the game as well. In fact, just the other day, there was a countdown of the top weather events, and “climate change” came in at number one even above Hurricane Katrina and other weather disasters.

These are unserious folks who don’t live in reality. Climate change IS WEATHER. The climate changes. Because of this, weather changes. It’s not really that complicated. And we can’t do anything about it – and that includes if we get rid of our fossil fuel cars and go electric.

But the Democrats will not be deterred from scaring everyone and legislating gas-powered cars out of existence – and pushing their global warming agenda (oops – it had to be changed to “climate change” after bad marketing).

The recent Michigan “Air Quality Alert” is just another way to push their politics on us. The alert started on Wednesday, May 31st at 12:24 pm and goes until midnight tonight. In addition to the alert, the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality declared Wednesday May 31st and Thursday June 1st to be Action Days for elevated levels of ozone. They said pollutants were expected to be in the unhealthy for sensitive groups range and the Action Day was in effect for Manistee, Benzie, Leelanau and Grand Traverse counties.

The Michigan government urged people and businesses to avoid activities which lead to ozone formation. These activities include, refueling vehicles, or topping off when refueling, using gasoline powered lawn equipment, and using charcoal lighter fluid.

You evil gas-guzzling Michiganders. Just stay home already!!!!!! Just sit on your couch and stay there. And don’t use any electric appliances during “peak” hours either!

The tyrannical Democratic controlled government in Michigan advised that positive activities to save the ozone on Wednesday and Thursday (as if) included car pooling, biking to work, delaying or combining errands and using water based paints.

So go for it, folks – if you’re really naive enough to think that biking to work will save the ozone and the planet, feel free. But maybe you should take a look at an illustration of how far away the ozone is from your front porch and how you think the SUV in your driveway can actually affect it. And maybe ask yourself why the government told you to take action for only a few days in June and not every other day of the week all year .
