If you look at all the legislation that Michigan Democrats in the state’s House and Senate are working on, you will see that they are very pro-criminal. In fact, they don’t see to want criminals in jail for most anything (unless of course, you are a Trump supporter or supporter of the 2nd Amendment)
Yes, if you are a criminal in Michigan, things are looking up for you.
If you are a juvenile, the Democrats don’t want you to spend your life in prison – even if you kill someone.

Then there’s another bill the Democrats are looking at so that they can give criminals “productivity credits” in order to get them out 20% faster.
But the worse of all is the package of bills that the Democrats have come up with recently – House Bills 4556-4560. Those are the bills that could let murderers, rapists, domestic abusers and other dangerous criminals out of prison early. According to House Republican Leader Matt Hall, the bills would allow almost all criminals in Michigan prisons to request a reduced sentence after only 10 years in prison.
Hall criticized the bills, which would let even serial killers and other murderers sentenced to life without the possibility of parole to have their remaining sentences reduced or eliminated.
“Michiganders want public safety in our communities, but House Democrats are pushing radical, unprecedented plans to let dangerous criminals roam our neighborhoods,” said Hall, R-Richland Township. “The Democrats’ newest, extreme proposal could release the most brutal murderers and rapists from prison and inject them back into our communities. This horrifying legislation disregards victims and obliterates the safety that the people of Michigan deserve.”
Under the bills, more than 17,000 dangerous criminals in Michigan would be eligible to request a lower sentence in the future, including more than 5,100 murderers, 1,700 criminal sexual offenders, and 1,000 armed robbers who would be immediately eligible for resentencing. The bills would make it difficult for victims and law enforcement to prevent a violent criminal from getting a reduced sentence and returning to the streets to put victims and other Michigan residents at risk.
Even Jason Dalton, the Kalamazoo Uber shooter who does not meet the legislation’s narrow “mass shooting” exception, could have his life sentence reduced after only 10 years.
The criminals in Michigan are dangerous. This we know. Now we are finding out that a Democratic-led state is just as dangerous.
