All over the country, the transgender movement, with the help of their supporters, has been targeting children in schools and libraries with sexually exploitative books that parents are calling “porn” and drag queen “children story hours.” Some private book stores have also embraced these kinds of events that are targeting kids.
To push back against the sexualization of children, Tennessee Republican Governor Bill Lee recently signed legislation into law. According to Breitbart News, those laws “prohibits sex change operations, cross-sex hormone therapy, and puberty blockers for children who are attempting to transition, in addition to prohibiting drag performances on public property and in the presence of children.”
A drag queen, for the most part, is a man who dresses up as a woman and performs as an entertainer. And while “Gender Identity Disorder” is no longer be included in the American Psychiatric Association’s manual of mental disorders, they are still using the term “gender dysphoria” to describe emotional distress over a “marked incongruence between’s one’s experienced/expressed gender and assigned gender.”

So it’s not normal. And it’s certainly not anything to bring out in public, flaunting the trans adult lifestyle in front of a child who is too young to understand the situation and the sexual implications of the transgender movement.
Nevertheless, there was a “Drag Queen Story Time” event in Royal Oak, Michigan over the weekend at the Sidetrack Book Store. And the bookstore has embraced the publicity of the protests of their story hour, including putting photo of the protest of their story time as the profile photo on their Facebook page.
Both supporters and protesters showed up at the event which featured three drag queens reading to children. Protests signs were waved outside that said “stop the grooming,” “don’t exploit children,” as well as those on the other side of the issue that said “queer pride” and “ban guns, not drag queens.”
Adam Besso, who attended the protest, said, “Exploitation of children is a felony. It’s a crime. I don’t think conservatives would have a problem with what is going on her if it weren’t targeted towards children.”
Genessee County’s David Robles feels the same way. He said “What adults do behind closed doors is one thing, but I don’t think my child should be exposed to it.”
For some reason, although the transgender movement has had success in adding gender identity to civil rights laws, like in Michigan, they’ve gotten schools to hide gender identities of their students, and they have been able to force women and girls to accept men in their sporting events, locker rooms and bathrooms, that hasn’t been enough. Like every other leftist movement, they demand more.
Currently, the transgender movement wants the right to “groom” children into the lifestyle with no one trying to stop them. But that isn’t going to happen.
