Continuing their attack on the 2020 election, the Democrats have tried several tactics to stop President Trump. One recent attack was when Trump’s tax returns mysteriously appeared days before the first debate. Now, it appears the Democrats aren’t even hiding their schemes as the moderator for the next presidential debate interned for none other than… Joe Biden.
President Trump’s campaign were the ones to blow the whistle on the upcoming debate and its moderator C-SPAN anchor Steve Scully. While the Democrats would usually scream and cry until the problem went away, it’s hard to lie when the evidence is right in front of you.
The tweet featured below shows Scully standing next to presidential hopeful Joe Biden. The caption reads “Gotta love the @VP at the Biden Beach Bash ’16.” The tweet quickly went viral and was shared thousands of times as news about the relationship surfaced.

Even Trump’s campaign advisor Jason Miller decided to tweet out some free advice for the upcoming moderator. He tweeted, “Don’t forget to change before the debate, fellas!”
While there is no denying the picture and past shared between Scully and Biden, some believe the connection is nothing more than coincidence. For vice president of conservative media research center, Dan Gainor it’s far more than a mix-up, “When they picked the moderator did they try to ensure that it would be biased to benefit Biden? This is the equivalent of giving the Democrats home-field advantage.”
To add to the picture, an interview was found of Scully talking to the Cable Center in 2011. During the discussion, Scully says, “I came to school in Washington, D.C., went to American University and had a couple of internships. I worked for Joe Biden, senator from Delaware at the time, as an intern, so I had my first chance to really see politics up close in Washington, D.C.”
While there isn’t any rule against the moderator being a friend of either party, it does beg the question of how the Democrats would react to find out the moderator was a former employee of Donald Trump. The Democrats have already shown they are unwilling to follow basic rules when President Trump nominated Amy Coney Barrett for Supreme Court.
