The NFL is extra stupid.

Here’s why…they’ve had the luxury of watching the ratings for the NBA, MLB, and even the NHL’s tank after they got “woke” for Marxist group BLM.

I don’t know how much clearer the American public needs to say it: They don’t want politics and activism in their sports.

A new online poll shows that a whopping 87% of people will tune out the NFL if players kneel.

Do you support individual military members being able to opt out of getting the COVID vaccine?

And when the NFL tried to pull an SJW “unity” stunt, they got booed.

JUST STOP WITH THE ACTIVISM. It’s that simple. Why can’t these fools understand this?

Maybe watching the ratings tank yet again will remind the NFL bigwigs and these spoiled-rotten athletes who’s in charge.

The season opener game that aired on NBC hit an embarrassing 10-year-low…and that was a game featuring the defending Super Bowl champs.

Yowza.

Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk wrote in a tweet: “NFL Season Opener ratings were down 16.1% last night—a 10 year low for the NFL & NBC I guess Americans don’t want to be lied to about how racist and awful their country is—especially one day before the anniversary of 9/11.”

Yes, he’s right. We don’t want to be lectured at all about how “awful’ America is by a bunch out of tone-deaf/low-info zillionaire athletes on any day of the week.

From Deadline

Reigning Super Bowl champs, the Kansas City Chiefs pummeled the Houston Texans 34-20, and the ratings were down — a lot. In early numbers, the primetime NBC game scored a 5.2 among adults 18-49 and 16.4 million viewers between 8-11 p.m. ET.

The game ended over 12 hours ago and now the final numbers are in from last night’s NFL season opener. The primetime matchup between the victorious Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans snared 19.3 million viewers on NBC.

That’s a fumble of 12.3% from the Green Bay Packers-Chicago Bears opening game of the 2019-2020 season on September 5, 2019. With racial justice center stage at the beginning of last night’s game, the contest between the reigning Super Bowl champions and the Lone Star state team is up just a touch over the nine-year low of the weather-delayed 2018 season opener in total sets of eyeballs.

When data from NBC Sports Digital and NFL Digital platforms are added to Thursday’s NFL battle, the 8:28-11:05 p.m.  ET game had a total audience of 20.3 million. That’s an 11% drop from last year’s TAD, even with the digital numbers up 55% over 2019 to a non-Super Bowl high. Last night’s game peaked at 22 million viewers early in the 9:15-9:30 p.m. ET slot.

Mark my words, this will only get worse.

Rumor has it the NFL will be playing a “Black National anthem” at an upcoming game.

The ratings will continue to pummel until these sports teams get a clue and leave politics and activism off of the field, court, and ice.
