With millions of Americans in quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic, many women are not bothering to put on makeup right now. Country music star Dolly Parton, however, is not one of these ladies, as she has defiantly continued her glam routine while in self-isolation.

“I always say that the only way I’d be caught without makeup is if a radio fell into the bathtub and electrocuted me,” she joked to People Magazine, going on to add, “So yes, I’m always in glam!”

As for what life is like for her staying at home, Parton said that it is “pretty great.”

“[I’m] following all the social distancing rules, living on faith,” she explained. “I’m still working like always, trying to bring some light anywhere that I can.”

Though times may seem bleak right now, Parton said that it is crucial that everyone “keep the faith.”

“God is looking out for us,” she said. “We will come out on the other side of this, and we’re all going to be better people for it. Take care of each other from afar and continue to send love to your friends, family and everyone suffering.”

Parton has previously said that she never leaves the house without a full face of makeup on.

“It’s important because I don’t want someone to see me and be disappointed,” the legendary singer told the Associated Press back in 2003. “It got to be fun for me, a conversational piece. But this is how I think I look the best.”

Parton has been speaking out often during her time in quarantine to try and keep her fans spirits’ up during this difficult time. From the very beginning, she has been saying that God has a hand in the COVID-19 crisis, and that he will get us through it.

“I know this is a scary time, and this is a weird, odd thing. But this is just so strange that I almost think that God has to be in this,” Parton said earlier this month. “Because we’ve just gotten so scattered these days, there’s just so much hate and violence, and just people fighting back and forth.”

“Maybe God’s kinda slapping us upside the head and saying, ‘y’all better take a look at yourself,'” she continued. “‘Y’all better take a look at each other, you better try to do a little better.”
