Obama’s Progressive Pope is at it again.

This time he’s calling for global socialism in the form of world-wide wealth redistribution.

Embattled Pope Francis, who is a well-known mouthpiece and puppet for the globalists, is now calling all tax cuts for the rich a “sin.”

His controversial comments came during a Vatican seminar and understandably raised more than a few eyebrows.

Francis said that today’s “structures of sin” include repeated tax cuts for rich people that are justified in the name of investment and development.

So, tax cuts that help further development and increase growth are also off-limits according to the Progressive Pope.

Wow, okay.

The Progressive Pope went on to say that poverty was on the rise – however, a 2018 Brookings Institution report found that the world is currently experiencing “the lowest prevalence of extreme poverty ever recorded in human history — less than 8 percent,” and they also said that number falls every year.

Is this just another push from Pope Globalism to try and make failed “socialism” great again?

Tax cuts for the wealthy constitute a “structure of sin,” Pope Francis said Wednesday in a passionate address calling for international wealth redistribution.

“Every year hundreds of billions of dollars, which should be paid in taxes to fund health care and education, accumulate in tax haven accounts,” the pontiff told participants in a Vatican seminar, “thus impeding the possibility of the dignified and sustained development of all social agents.”

“Today’s structures of sin include repeated tax cuts for the richest people, often justified in the name of investment and development,” Francis told the meeting organized by the Pontifical Academy for Social Sciences.

During his discourse, the pope repeated his conviction that poverty is on the rise worldwide and “the poor increase around us.”

With the passage of time and the advances of civilization the number of poor people increases rather than diminishing, Francis similarly asserted last June, and “the poor are always poorer, and today they are poorer than ever.” [Breitbart]

It’s one thing to say this stuff because you’re worried about poor people. As a Pope that should be your main concern. But as always this Pope always ends up in the political weeds, especially when he’s pushing false figures and his statements fly in the face of actual data.

For example, the Progressive Pope declared that the per capita annual income in the world this year will be $12,000 “according to official reports.”

But again, that’s not accurate.

Actual data from the World Bank shows that the annual per capita income worldwide has been increasing – by a lot – each year and in 2018 that number was $17,948.

Also worth noting that the World Bank says that the global per capita income has increased by over 200 percent since 1990.

The Progressive Pope is pushing fake news to try and spread his socialism/government agenda.

Scary stuff.
