In a dazzling display of efficiency, the Trump administration has managed to deport over 100,000 individuals in just the first 70 days of its second term – and has arrested more than 110,000.
In a report from Just the News, according to an ICE official, these impressive numbers are a combined effort of arrests and deportations by both U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
The announcement comes as illegal border crossings reached a record low under the Trump administration, with Border Patrol reportedly encountering only 7,181 migrants in March, according to a post on X by Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan.
