It finally happened – a leftist has been honest about something. Larry Fink, the CEO of BlackRock and former High Priest of ESG evangelism, just told the world that wind and solar might not be the energy saviors he’s been sermonizing about for years.

According to the Daily Caller, Fink said in his annual chairman’s letter to investors on Monday, March 31st, that wind and solar “can’t reliably keep the lights on” without “major breakthroughs in storage.” Gee…who knew?! How about EVERYONE with a brain? That doesn’t include Leftists.

Maybe we need to stop bulldozing ahead with overpriced wind farms and solar panels as far as the eye can see – and stealing people’s land to move the progressive EV agenda ahead.

According to Fink, “We need energy pragmatism.” He added that it also means “being clear-eyed about our energy mix.”

Wow. Someone alert Michigan’s Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer before she signs another subsidy check for a turbine farm that doubles as an eagle blender.

Yes, Governor Whitmer is still riding the renewable unicorn into the budget sunset – taxpayer saddle and all. She’s a busy bee pushing EV mandates, wind projects on farmland that nobody asked for, and solar fields so big they could roast a million marshmallows.

But when the CEO of the world’s largest asset manager (that’s $10+ trillion, folks) admits wind and solar aren’t the end-all-be-all, maybe it’s time to ask: is anyone in the rest of the country – and Lansing – awake? Or are they still napping under their solar panels?

The wind’s changing direction, Governor Whitmer. Especially with the election of Donald J. Trump. Try not to get blown away.
