Independent Senator Bernie Sanders (who is only a Democrat when he runs for the presidency) took to the stage at Coachella recently at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to decry the evils of oligarchy – right in front of a crowd that paid at least $600 for the privilege of being there.

Yes, this is the same Bernie who owns three homes and has been a fixture in politics for over half a century – who, for some reason, decided that a luxury music festival was the perfect venue to rally against the billionaire class.

Sanders delivered a passionate speech urging the younger generation to stand up and “fight for justice.” He criticized President Trump’s dismissal of climate change as a “hoax” and called for action against the fossil fuel industry to protect the planet. He also spoke about economic inequality, racial justice, women’s reproductive rights, and the need for universal healthcare, asserting that “healthcare is a human right.”

All over social media, leftists were gaga over the fact that Sanders’ latest “Fighting Oligarchy Tour” rally in Los Angeles, California had a reported 36,000 people attend. Big whoop. 36,000 in a city of about four million.
