It’s Friday and the Democrats and their media cheerleaders are at it again, shrieking about the end times. Why? Because Donald Trump, that orange harbinger of doom, and his sidekick, billionaire Elon Musk, are rooting out government waste, fraud, and abuse – and trying to make America great again.

Never mind that most of the left’s apocalyptic visions are still stuck in the realm of things that “might” happen. If you watch their latest insanity, you will see that these folks have crystal balls shinier than a CNN pundit’s forehead. This might happen or that might happen – all because of Trump and DOGE.

Screaming about cutting off funding for a transgender mice study, Sesame Street in Iraq and other lunacy, the leftists are apoplectic that federal workers and others are getting fired and programs are being cut – leaving all of their leftist buddies without funding to get rich so they can send some of their proceeds back to the Democratic Party in their decades-old pay-to-play political corruption schemes.

Even the well-intentioned programs and activities like funding cancer studies, AIDS research, and digging wells – especially in foreign lands – should never have been funded by federal taxpayer money to begin with. Read the Constitution. That kind of thing should be left to the states, private companies, organizations, non-profits and volunteers.

And right on schedule, the leftist media is parading the tearjerker lineup of folks getting fired: pregnant moms, loyal employees, single dads…Cue the violins. According to them, it’s doomsday.

Democratic Senator Patty Murray recently said there are “dark days coming” concerning the firings at NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) in an article that laments the firing of single dad, Mark Baltzell, who was a fishery management specialist.

And the leftist Center for American Progress says that “thousands” of folks in each congressional district “could” lose their jobs under DOGE cuts. If you look on the internet, you will see “doom and gloom” stories all over the place about how Trump and Elon are destroying the country.

I’m not blind to the reality that some good people doing solid work will lose their jobs, and I genuinely feel bad for them. But guess what? Countless Americans lost jobs and businesses due to government COVID tyranny deciding who was “essential.” Maybe all these displaced federal workers can learn to code just like they advised oil pipeline workers to do. And since so many of the federal workers are working from home, that will be easy for them to do when they lost their jobs because of Biden.

No, the sky is NOT falling.

Oh, and the worst thing of all?? (insert sarcasm)… because of job cuts, apparently the tyrannical IRS is not going to be able to audit as many people as they want. So sad.
