The Democrats and the shady Biden Administration threw everything at Donald Trump they could to keep him off the ballot. Didn’t work. They threw everything at Trump they could to keep him from winning the election. Didn’t work.

So now they have their consolation prize – getting one of their many lawfare games against Trump to the sentencing phase in order to label him as a “convicted felon” before he takes office in a week.

Let’s break it down. The case revolves around hush-money payments, a misdemeanor at best in most legal dictionaries. But in Trump’s world, even jaywalking would probably be escalated to a felony. The Democrats weren’t chasing justice – they were crafting a narrative. Never mind that Trump didn’t get sentenced to anything. That wasn’t the point. The point was for the left to brand Trump a convicted felon and they got their wish.

The Supreme Court declined to delay Trump’s sentencing in the hush-money case, appearing to assert that while Trump is immune from criminal prosecution, criminal sentencing is apparently a different story. Disappointingly, Chief Justice John Roberts and Amy Coney Barrett sided with the Dems by refusing to take up Trump’s appeal to halt the sentencing.

Convicted Felon. That’s the shiny new marketing phrase Democrats can slap on their online articles and broadcast reports about Trump now. After failing to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office through elections, impeachments, lawfare and assignation attempts, they’ve scored a “win” with their long-awaited “convicted felon” title for Orange Man Bad.

Yes, Donald J. Trump can now add “CF Trump” to his list of monikers, and just like we proudly embraced “Deplorables” after Hillary’s infamous jab, Trump should wear this label as a badge of honor. Meanwhile, the Democrats, driven by their unrelenting Trump Derangement Syndrome, will be forever remembered as spiteful, partisan zealots. History will immortalize their obsession and the lengths they went to in their crusade to “get” Trump.

Trump’s foes are giddy, not because the sentencing changes anything electorally but because they now have a juicy soundbite. Convicted Felon Donald J. Trump. Rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it? And it will be all that CNN and MSNBC talks about while they have to broadcast Trump’s inauguration on election day.

They have already started their giddiness and panting over the issue. On Friday, Ana Cabrera said on MSNBC, “This is going to be the only president in the history of this country to have been sentenced on criminal felony charges.”

Elie Honig, a CNN legal analyst gushed, “That means it is now official, that Donald Trump has been convicted of a felony…That is a moment.”

So while Democrats are celebrating a “conviction,” MAGA is celebrating an electoral and popular vote presidential win and looking forward to Trump moving his belongings back into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue exactly one week from today on January 20th.
