Hunter Biden and the Biden family are clearly operating under a different set of rules. That much became glaringly obvious in the statement released by IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler. They didn’t mince words:
“President Biden has the power to put his thumb on the scales of justice for his son, but at least he had to do it with a pardon explicitly for all the world to see rather than his political appointees doing it secretly behind the scenes. Either way it is a sad day for law-abiding taxpayers to witness this special privilege for the powerful.”
Will Joe Biden give himself a pardon before he walks out of the White House?
It’s a loaded question. But honestly, would anyone be surprised if he did? After all, the mainstream media have long accused Donald Trump of contemplating self-pardon—yet here we are, staring down the possibility that it could be the Bidens who pull that very stunt.
Remember all the noise from politicians about the dangers of pardon abuse? One in particular comes to mind: Adam Schiff, the California congressman known for his dramatic rhetoric.
I wonder what Schiff, the feckless weasel, would have to say on the matter today.
Spoiler: He probably wouldn’t say much. Or, if he did, it would likely be a very different tune than the one he sang when Trump was in office. Schiff’s once-vocal stance on pardons? Silent now.
Then there’s Andrew McCabe, the former FBI official who was unceremoniously shown the door for what many viewed as dishonest and unethical behavior. His take on Hunter Biden’s legal troubles has been predictably light-handed.
McCabe failed to mention that Hunter Biden was—until recently—a convicted felon on gun and tax evasion charges.
Karma has a funny way of catching up with those who play the partisan game, doesn’t it?
Let’s talk about the corporate mainstream media, which spent years hammering Donald Trump for allegedly breaking norms, skirting the law, and prioritizing personal gain over public interest. Now, with the Bidens? Crickets.
Well, it seems that lid is getting blown clean off as well.
And let’s not forget:
Oh, and one more thing—President Trump called this weeks ago.
So, as the media scramble to rewrite the narrative and political figures remain conspicuously silent, one question looms larger than ever: Are the rules only for the little people?
Stay tuned.
