Michigan’s decades-long population stagnation has finally turned around, with more than 57,000 new residents boosting the count to 10.14 million. But before we break out the confetti, let’s talk about what’s behind the increase: illegal aliens invading the country and the state. Sure some of the immigrants entering the state might be “legal” but we all know that many are not.

According to a report from Bridge Michigan, immigration is why Michigan has new residents streaming in – and it’s not likely that most of them are the kind that involves visas and welcome packets. It’s because of the Democrat party’s purposeful open borders over the past four years during the Biden-Harris administration.

For years, Michiganders have been leaving the state like it’s on fire, chasing sunnier tax climates, warmer weather, less business regulations and better economic opportunities. But now, thanks to what some call “creative border policies” (and others call an invasion) we’ve got fresh faces moving in – and not ones who are coming through Detroit Metro Airport with a passport in hand.

Michigan Democrats seem to have found its answer to a shrinking tax base: importing a new one. And while they’re at it, they’re bringing in new voters too – which is what all of this is really about.

Whether it’s “skilled” workers, refugees, or undocumented immigrants, the message is loud and clear: Michigan’s open for business for illegal aliens from all over the planet – until the Trump administration shuts it down.
