Brace yourselves, America…Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, otherwise known as AOC, the queen of social media zingers and patron saint of progressive pipe dreams, is being added to the list of possible 2028 Democratic presidential contenders.
That’s right – the geniuses of Loserville (the Democratic Party and their supporters) who have already put up two sucky female Democratic presidential candidates with Hillary and Kamala, want to throw another big loser’s hat into the ring.
AOC, the architect of the Green New Deal (the one that promises to eliminate cow farts and air travel), would actually be the perfect choice for the next Democratic presidential nominee if you think about it. She is everything that the Democrats stand for: which is insanity.
AOC’s fans would be ecstatic with what would most likely be a TikTok campaign of sound bites and a cocktail of socialist plans and freebies.
Also in the the mix, I’m sure, would be Instagram Lives with her and her bestie Bernie Sanders cooking mac and cheese while ranting about capitalism.
AOC’s greatest hits would include the following absurdities:
- Defunding the Police
- Taxing the Rich
- And, of course…Free Everything: College, healthcare, housing – you name it. It’s free! Just don’t ask her to explain how to pay for it.
AOC running for president is like giving a Formula 1 race car to someone who barely mastered a bicycle. Her politics live in the land of hashtags and viral moments, not in the realities of leading a global superpower. But in a party that embraces identity politics, fringe ideologies, and a flair for manufactured narratives, she’s the perfect candidate to steer their latest agenda into the future waters of absurdity.
