While Kamala Harris is (mostly) calling for national unity, her friends at the George Soros-funded MoveOn.org have clearly missed that memo. In the face of a Donald Trump encore in the Oval Office, Kamala’s “come together” campaign sounds peaceful enough – like a John Lennon song. But in the inboxes of millions, MoveOn has activated its battle cry – resistance, donations, and, yes, resistance some more. After all, how are they supposed to make money if their supporters are… happy and calm?

Peace and love – or fight and fury?

MoveOn’s email opens with somber notes straight out of an apocalyptic movie trailer: “It is a dark day in America” they say, referencing Trump headed to the White House for a second term.

Trump’s re-election isn’t just a setback for them; it’s apparently the end of the line for everything good and right in the world. As they put it, Trump wants us “too tired, too angry, and too scared” to fight back against them – whatever that means. In other words, this is NOT the time for unity as Kamala has suggested. Instead, it’s time to dig deep into the anti-Trump rage, because it’s the fuel for the resistance.

Breaking news: resistance doesn’t come cheap – it’s apparently $9 per person.

Let’s be clear: uniting for the common good (fighting Trump) might be admirable, but MoveOn’s version comes with a price tag. And what price is that, you ask? A mere $9 per person. This is, they say, an “all-hands-on-deck moment” and a way to turn outrage into action.

MoveOn’s message is simple but loud: if you’re heartbroken and outraged, then you need to dig into your wallet and take out your credit card. Let fear, anger, confusion and sadness drive you to dig up at least $9 for them. Donate soon please.

Rejecting Trump and working for a more progressive country.

MoveOn’s vision for their anti-Trump strategy is NOT to find common ground. They are doubling down on full-scale opposition. With phrases like “defend communities under attack” and “fight for our freedoms,” their action plan reads like a resistance to-do list.

So despite Kamala’s pleas to get along and unify, it looks like the hard left is not listening. Instead, they grabbed onto the parts of her concession speech where she talked about continuing to “fight.” To that end, MoveOn chooses to continue to stoke the flames of political warfare.
