It’s Election Day, and the contrast between voters on both sides has never been starker. Democrats, as observed in interviews with outlets like The Daily Wire, aren’t focused on policies or vision – they’re voting against Trump. Republicans, however, are voting for what they see as a return to American values and stability.
Republicans, especially the MAGA folks, have issues they care about – the economy, the border, foreign policy and more. While SOME of the Dems might be voting because they want to as much abortion as possible or they are excited about having the first woman of color be president, don’t let that fool you either. Their main reason they are voting FOR Kamala is because they are voting AGAINST Trump.
No matter what they try, Trump keeps rising like a loaf of bread.
All the Left’s attempts to take down Trump have fallen flat. Impeachments, smear campaigns, censorship, election meddling, court battles – even alleged assassination attempts – haven’t kept Donald J. Trump down. And with every comeback, he fuels their frustration even more.
And they might be able to defeat him tomorrow. And if they do so, November 5th will probably be declared a national holiday – something like “Democracy Day” or “Bye-Bye Don” Day or “Covfefe Cleansing.” But it won’t be a holiday – or a victory – for America.
Kamala’s supporters: there are none.
On a recent episode of The Daily Wire’s Morning Wire podcast, a reporter spoke with voters, and the message was clear: Kamala’s “supporters” aren’t exactly fired up about her. Maybe that’s why her rallies often feature concerts and celebrities like Beyoncé to warm up the crowd before her obligatory 28-minute speech. She’s not sparking enthusiasm, and her voters seem largely unaware – and uninterested – in her policies.
After talking with Trump voters about policies that they care about (mostly the economy) and specific reasons they are voting for him, the reporter also talked to Kamala voters. He said, with the exception of abortion, “I rarely heard much about policy or even much about Harris herself. It was interesting. The majority of her supporters made clear to me that their vote was more about being against Trump than FOR Harris.”
When Kamala voters were asked, “Who do you want to win?” here’s what the reporter heard:
Ignorant Kamala voter 1: Harris
Reporter: And why’s that?
Ignorant Kamala voter 1: Because Trump is Trump. That’s it. It don’t matter. I don’t have to know anything about Harris.
Reporter: Who do you want to win?
Ignorant Kamala voter 2: Kamala Harris…I believe in democracy. January 6. Felon, sexual assault, classified documents, misogyny, racism…need I go on?
Reporter: What is the main reason you want Kamala to win?
Ignorant Kamala voter 3: Because he (Trump) said he’s gonna be a dictator. The economy that was decent when he was there was because of Obama, not because of him (Trump).
And it just goes on and on from there with their anti-Trump rhetoric. I kept waiting for a real answer – an actual reason they were voting for Kamala. But they had none.
While the Dems are all happy that Dementia Biden is no longer their candidate, they really couldn’t care less who the placeholder is. They would have accepted anyone (and did) – and didn’t mind giving up democracy (millions of discarded Biden votes) in the process.
Yes, there are folks on the Right who are voting AGAINST stuff as well – but they are voting against an atrocious tyrannical political party called the Democratic Party and their POLICIES.
In Real Clear Politics [1], writer, comedian, and podcast host Bridget Phetasy explains her decision to vote for Trump, albeit reluctantly.
Bridget admits she’s not a Trump enthusiast but feels compelled to vote against what she calls “anti- civilizational behavior” coming from the Left. “If you had told the Bridget of 2016 that the Bridget of 2024 was going to vote for Donald J. Trump, I would have said, ‘Wow, that’s unfortunate. I lose my mind in the future,’” she joked. But here she is, swayed by what she sees as unchecked extremism on the Left. She sees her vote as a stand for America rather than just another “not-Trump” reaction.
The politics of “Not Trump.”
It’s not uncommon to find Democrats voting on slogans like “anyone but Trump” without a clear idea of what they support. They cite racism, fascism and dictatorship as reasons to vote against Trump, things they have heard in the media and are parroting – with little regard (or knowledge) about actual policy issues.
Do they understand or care about the Ukraine war? Doubtful. Are they aware of the issues with North Korea and Russia? Unlikely. Do they care about rising rent and grocery costs? Sure – but their dislike for Trump outweighs any concerns over their own bills – or the struggles of others. After all, they still have their credit cards!
The Democrats’ primary mission over the past few years has centered on one clear goal: MANTA – Make America Not Trumpian Again.
On the other side are the informed voters like us. And Bridget – who summed it up perfectly by saying: ‘I’m going to vote for America.'”
Amen, sister.
