Does Biden Want Kamala to Win? It Doesn’t Look Like It.

In what seems like a bad breakup disguised as politics, Biden has thrown Kamala Harris under the bus not once, not twice, but several times in less than a month. Yes, when it comes to Biden’s disgruntled opinion of the coup against him, he has found a way to strike back – and it’s against Kamala.

Biden throws Kamala under the bus.

According to an article from the Daily Mail [1], when Hurricane Milton hit, and Kamala accused Florida Governor Ron DeSantis of “playing political games,” Biden responded not with support but with a heaping dose of praise for the governor. Biden’s warm words for DeSantis weren’t just polite – they were practically a thank-you note to the GOP.

Biden said to reporters, “All I can do is tell you I have talked to Governor DeSantis. He has been very gracious, he’s thanked for me all we’ve done, he knows what we’re doing and I think that’s important.”

Hurricane Milton briefing blunder.

In the last month, Biden’s been in full presidential mode – so much so that he seems to forget that he’s even got a VP that he is supposed to elevate and promote as if she is a part of everything he does – and is competent.

At a recent briefing on Hurricane Milton, Biden completely overlooked Kamala and then looked startled when she chimed in to ask a question to National Weather Service director Ken Graham. To make matters worse, Biden spoke over Harris multiple times during the meeting, despite the fact that she was already struggling with a slight delay while joining in virtually. Maybe he forgot she was even there. I know a lot of us want to.

A little spotlight hogging never hurt, right?

And just when Kamala was set to make her grand speech in Detroit, Biden swooped in, casually taking over the headlines with his impromptu appearance at the White House briefing room. The networks proceeded to ditch Kamala for Biden.

Biden’s greatest hits don’t appear to include a duet with a candidate nobody wanted.

Biden’s got history when it comes to overshadowing his colleagues. Whether it was throwing shade at Obama or sly digs at Hillary Clinton, he’s not one to play second fiddle. As Biden recently put it himself, “I’m back in.” Sure, he said it with a smile and as a joke, but it’s hard not to wonder if there’s a bit of truth in that joke.

After all of Biden’s so-called “helpful” efforts during her campaign, old man Biden will be chomping at the bit to say, “I told you so” when she loses the presidential race – knowing he was sidelined instead of being able to face off against Orange Man Bad.
