On this solemn anniversary of September 11th, a day that forever changed the course of American history, the nation should be reflecting on the sacrifices of the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the heroes who ran into the burning towers, and the ripple effects that still haunt us today.

23 years later…We have to ask ourselves – have we learned anything from our past mistakes? We should be asking ourselves tough questions about security, immigration, and the consequences of open borders. This is something Trump often speaks about often but Kamala and the Democrats could care less about how many illegal aliens are invading the country and how many of them are terrorists.

Remember when we said, “Never forget”? That was supposed to be a rallying cry, a promise to safeguard our country from repeating the mistakes that led to that fateful day – and to do everything we need to do to keep the country safe. Yet here we are, years later, with Democratic politicians who roll out the welcome mat for anyone and everyone, from all corners of the globe, while ignoring the potential dangers of terrorists invading our country.

The Washington Times published a piece on this on Monday saying that FBI director Wray has publicly cited that the FBI’s “number one priority” is protecting the U.S. from terrorist attacks. Yet, the Washington Times says “The Biden-Harris administration is so remiss it fails to listen to its own experts on the severity of this problem and is failing to protect Americans from threats entering our country through our southern border.”

The tragedy of September 11th wasn’t just an attack on buildings; it was an attack on our way of life. And while we claim to honor the victims each year, our Democrat-led policies often suggest otherwise. They seem to have a convenient case of amnesia when it comes to enforcing the rules meant to keep our nation safe.

Protecting our homeland must come first and that means closing the borders and deporting the criminals (and terrorists) that already got through – no matter how unpopular that might be.
