Despite throwing in the towel and endorsing Donald Trump, the Natural Law Party’s decision to nominate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as their presidential candidate in Michigan means that voters in the Mitten State will still get to see RFK Jr.’s name on the ballot come November.
Yes, according to Michigan Democratic Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s spokeswoman Cheri Hardmon, minor party candidates cannot withdraw their name.
In addition to that, a recent judge’s decision has put independent presidential candidate Cornel West back on the ballot if he has submitted enough valid signatures – which it looks like he has – pending appeal of course.

Add to that the thousands and thousands of dissatisfied anti-Israel Democratic voters who might sit out this year’s elections because of their rejection of the Harris-Walz Israel/Gaza agenda and you have all kinds of worry in the Democratic Party as Michigan could very well be the decider in the presidential election this year.
Family Feud: Kennedy edition.
Now, you’d think as far as RFK Jr. goes, the Kennedy family, American political royalty, would rally around him in a time of need, right? Wrong. The Kennedy clan, in true dramatic fashion, couldn’t resist the urge to publicly drag RFK Jr. for what they see as the ultimate betrayal to their party and the Democratic Party.
An incredibly large group of five of his relatives lined up trecently o kick him while he’s down, accusing him of abandoning the family’s sacred values by backing Trump. Their X statement is below:

But let’s be honest, the Kennedy family calling out anyone for not upholding “values” is like the fox giving a lecture on henhouse security. I mean, this is the same family with a history so scandalous it makes soap operas look tame. Yet here they are, outraged that Bobby is following his conscience – because heaven forbid someone in that family does something that doesn’t involve a tragic accident or a cover-up.
Tammy Bruce attacks Kennedy’s family for attacking him.
Tammy Bruce, an American conservative radio host, author, and political commentator on Fox News wrote an open letter to one of Kennedy’s relatives, Kerry Kennedy, in a scathing commentary about their family’s disgusting-ness.
Her letter to Kerry said, “You people are awful. Despite your family’s checkered past and horrible behavior of so many of the men, Americans have stood with you out of loyalty, sentimentality, and too often, grief. Despite the questionable establishment of your family’s wealth, the treatment of Marilyn Monroe, the general womanizing, the abandonment of Mary Jo Kopechne to her death, allegations of rape, one could go on and on, but the point is your family has stayed loyal and protective of family
members who have done the most appalling of things. But the moment one of your own acts on his conscience for this country you attempt to throw him to the wolves and publicly condemn him. Never a word for the trail of abused or abandoned women left behind by a Kennedy, but because one of your men supports Trump in an effort to make the lives of Americans better, that alone is beyond the pale.”
Amen.

Michigan Democrats appear to have a bumpy ride to victory in November.
With RFK Jr. and Cornel West both poised to appear on the Michigan ballot and the “uncommitteds” contemplating staying home and eating bonbons, the Democrats are facing a perfect storm of dissent and division by folks who want to stay far far away from the lousy Harris-Walz ticket as possible.
It’s a mess, and Michigan Democrats might soon find themselves wishing they had a bit more of that famed Kennedy luck.
