It’s August 20, do you know who your president is? We know the guy pretending to have the job staggered out on stage in Chicago before getting sent out to pasture in a political coup unlike anything in American history.
I am live in Chicago’s United Center again today, but we are going to begin with the Democrats’ original sin. One of the worst things about the Democrats is their obsession with race.
This has been true for decades, and it’s a big factor in dividing America every day. They openly judge people differently based on skin color and ethnicity, no one can deny that. But what’s worse is that they’ve made accusing Republicans of racism the basis of their entire movement.
Whatever they don’t like is racist. Whoever criticizes them is racist. Anything bad in the world is racist.
Yes, they even often blame global warming on racism!
Now here’s something that will surprise you:
I, Steve Gruber, actually agree that racism is a big problem in America.
And I’m not really talking about racism against white people or anti-semitism. Those are problems too, but that’s not the most important point right now.
I’m talking about the racism of the Democratic Party and the undeniable damage Democrats have done to black people and their communities in America. I saw it first-hand while driving to Chicago for this convention.
It starts as you approach the Illinois border going through predominantly African-American towns and neighborhoods like Gary, Indiana, and the deeply damaged South Side of Chicago.
That’s where you see the devastation caused by decades of Democrat Party anti-black racism. What’s that you say? Aren’t the Democrats at least trying to be helpful to blacks and Latinos?
The answer is a hard no because, after decades of failed policies and strategies, things have not gotten any better.
Every weekend in black neighborhoods—especially poor black neighborhoods of Chicago—there are multiple shootings.
It’s not just the shootings.
Every year, more and more public schools in black neighborhoods continue to fail while Democrats block the exit to a better education.
Every night, a black Democrat politician in a gerrymandered district goes to bed knowing he does not have to do right by his constituents on any of these issues.
All of this creates the most vile and horrendous racism against black people in America today. And it’s all coming from one place: Democrats and their failed policies.
Let’s talk about education.
It’s not KKK thugs in hoods who keep black kids suffering in poor-performing public schools. It’s the Democratic Party and protected teacher’s unions who do that.
To protect those unions, Democrats have blocked every effort to improve public school accountability.
They’ve opposed moves to provide school choice and vouchers.
They’ve blocked efforts to let private and more accountable companies fix and run failing schools.

That’s all Democrats and their union friends who do that, the kids be damned. And when you try to do something for these minority kids, the Democrats accuse you of being racist and attacking democracy.
Meanwhile, it’s also not Republicans in the House and Senate who help keep black neighborhoods in economic decline.
No, that’s the black politicians who occupy 100% safe, gerrymandered seats in government where no actual record of achievement is necessary.
Speaking of safety, these politicians don’t care if their black constituents are safe.
If they did they’d never support crazy ideas to undermine the police.
The majority of black people living in crime-ridden neighborhoods say in poll after poll that they want more cops on the streets and programs like Stop & Frisk.
But the racist ivory tower Democrats like Kamala Harris don’t want to give it to them.
Just because so many of the Democrats responsible for these horrible results are blacks themselves doesn’t make this anti-black racism any less real.
The hate and disdain that it takes for anyone to continue to promote these ruinous policies is 100% real, even if it is overseen by a Kamala Harris, a Jim Clyburn, or a Hakim Jefferies.
Of course, the white Democrats just love to play along and pretend they speak the same language as the people they’re working so hard to harm.
Remember when then-Vice President Joe Biden attacked the Republicans for wanting to unchain the businesses of America while wanting to put blacks back in chains?
Not only was Biden lying there as usual, but can you hear how he tried to mimic a stereotypical African American accent!
That’s right, the white and black Democrats are racist. And nominating a woman of color for president doesn’t change that a bit.
If Kamala Harris wants to prove me wrong or change that, she can speak Thursday night about aiding school choice, ending gerrymandering, or putting a stop to taking black votes for granted.
The argument that Democrats care more about black people and deliver more for them than Republicans would be funny if you never drove or walked through some of the streets and neighborhoods I have this week.
No, it’s no joke. It’s very sad.
The question is: Will black voters do something about this?
Before Kamala Harris was inserted into the race, Donald Trump was getting historically high poll numbers among black voters.
Instead of learning something from this, Democrats simply attacked the polls numbers.
Congressman Jim Clyburn referred to the very few Black voters who vote Republican as “voting blindly.” What a bad case of projection and hypocrisy!
Any group that votes more than 80 or 85 percent for one party in America is doomed.
You think rich white people do that? Nope. they’re pretty much split right down the middle. So the politicians need to tap-dance for not only their votes but their money.
Rich and poor Black voters should take note of that.
Until they act more like free agents and less like brainwashed drones, they will see their communities continue to wallow in the Democrat Party’s racism and sadness.
I guess the Harris-Walz promise of a joyful campaign only goes as far as the limits of your gated communities and private schools.
Everyone else, most of them black people, get the tears.
