Despite both Donald J. Trump and Kamala Harris ignoring Robert F. Kennedy’s bid to become president, he has been quietly moving ahead to get his name on the ballot across the country. That is also despite the Democrats actually fighting Kennedy in court to try to keep him off the ballot as well.
But Kennedy has a well-oiled machine comprised of a strategic plan and grassroots volunteers across the United States.
And in a move that’s sure to ruffle even more feathers in the Democratic coop, Independent Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced on Saturday that his campaign has collected over 1 million signatures – more than any presidential candidate in American history.
“They forced us to bear this ballot access expense and organize a tremendous volunteer effort,” said Kennedy at a press briefing over the weekend. “It’s turned out to be a huge advantage in the upcoming election, as we now have more than 100,000 volunteers ready to get the vote out and win this election.
Completes petitioning in 8 more states.
Not one to quack under pressure, Kennedy’s campaign revealed that it has secured the required signatures in eight additional states: Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Massachusetts, Montana, North Dakota, Vermont, and Virginia.
All signatures have been validated by the campaign’s independent ballot access firm, ensuring Kennedy’s spot on the ballot. This achievement comes hot on the heels of their largest submission yet, just two days ago, in nine states including Connecticut, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Missouri, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
RFK Jr. will soon be on ballot in all 50 states + DC.
“More than 50% of Americans now identify as Independents,” remarked Independent Vice Presidential Candidate Nicole Shanahan at the presser. “There has never been a better opportunity for a third-party candidate to have success, especially with a unity ticket. We are here to unite the country.”
With these new additions, the Kennedy-Shanahan campaign has collected the necessary signatures for ballot access in 42 states, covering 480 electoral votes, or 89% of the total 538 electoral votes nationwide.
The dynamic duo is already officially on the ballot in 13 states – California, Delaware, Hawaii, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah, and now Alaska, Indiana, and Nebraska.
The campaign has submitted its signatures in 19 states – Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and West Virginia – and collected enough signatures
for ballot access in 10 states, including Florida, New Hampshire, and the newly added Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Massachusetts, Montana, North Dakota, Vermont, and Virginia.
Looks like the Democrats (and Trump) have more than just a wild goose chase on their hands – they’ve got a whole Kennedy flock taking flight towards the November election.
How this will shake out in the end is anyone’s guess. But one thing’s for sure: this bird’s eye view of the campaign trail shows Kennedy’s plan to soar high above the competition, ready to make a landing in the White House.
