It’s official: Joe Biden has been gently nudged – well, more like catapulted – into stepping aside from his re-election bid. Democrats from every corner of the political arena are now tripping over themselves to sing his praises after weeks of bullying him to step down from running against Orange Man Bad.

Nothing says “we appreciate you” like forcing someone to retire and then showering them with compliments.

Yes, Joe has become GREAT now that he’ll be leaving.

Whitmer’s balancing act: From road repairs and abortion advocate to Biden’s reputation rescuer.

Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan’s Democratic governor, took a break from her “fix the damn roads” mantra and her relentless endorsement of abortion, to try to fix Biden’s reputation now that he’s getting the boot out of the door of the White House in January.

According to Whitmer, Biden’s presidency was nothing short of miraculous. “He knows better than anyone what it takes to defeat Donald Trump,” she proclaimed, conveniently omitting the fact that it was this exact pressure to defeat Trump again that led to Biden’s departure. But hey, at least she’s still committed to her job: electing Democrats and stopping Trump, even if it means reshuffling the whole deck and kicking old man Biden to the nursing home curb.

Bill and Hillary: The dynamic duo gives Old Man Joe over-the-top praise.

Not to be outdone, Bill and Hillary Clinton released a statement that reads like a gushing high school yearbook entry: “President Biden has capped his extraordinary career of service with a Presidency that has lifted Americans out of an unprecedented pandemic, created millions of new jobs, rebuilt a battered economy, strengthened our democracy and restored our standing in the world. By any measure, he has advanced our founders’ charge to build a more perfect union and his own stated goal of restoring the soul of our nation.”

PUKE.

Apparently, the Clintons forgot about those lingering COVID-19 cases, economic struggles and other maladies that Americans are still facing. They also managed to pivot seamlessly to endorsing Kamala Harris as the next great thing saying, “Now is the time to support Kamala Harris and fight with everything we’ve got to elect her. America’s future depends on it.”

Obama: A masterclass in backhanded compliments.

Barack Obama, always the orator, painted Biden as a saint who graciously steps down for the greater good of the country. “Joe has reminded us of who we are at our best,” he stated. This is code for “Thanks for everything, Joe, but we need someone younger to tackle the next four years.” Obama’s words were a masterclass in wrapping a farewell with a giant bow of pretend admiration for work that Obama was actually getting done, not Joe. And where’s the Kamala endorsement, Barack?

Nancy Pelosi: America’s cheerleader.

Nancy Pelosi couldn’t resist adding her voice to the chorus after pushing Joe out of the White House door. “His vision, values, and leadership make him one of the most consequential Presidents in American history,” she X-ed. Translation: Biden’s time is up, but let’s make sure he feels good about it on his way out. BTW, Pelosi is even older than Biden is.

Gavin Newsom: the future is now and the future is Kamala.

California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom called Biden’s presidency “extraordinary” and “history- making.” He also endorsed Harris to be the presidential nominee for the party saying,“With our democracy at stake and our future on the line, no one is better to prosecute the case against Donald Trump’s dark vision and guide our country in a healthier direction than America’s Vice President Harris.” Guess he’s not interested in running for the job.

Chuck Schumer: the ultimate patriot?

Chuck Schumer wrapped it all up by calling Biden a “great president” and “leader.” Yes, he was one of many people who was strong-arming the president into retirement but don’t let that make you think that his words aren’t sincere.

A legacy of a great man.

Soon, streets will be named after the great Joe Biden. The Trump Tower in NYC will become “Biden Tower.” Every town in America will have a “Joe Biden Avenue.” Historical landmarks will be rebranded to honor his legacy, with schools and libraries adopting his name to reflect his contributions to education and public service.

Parks and recreational areas will feature statues and monuments dedicated to Biden’s achievements, creating a landscape where his influence is felt in every corner of the country. Even major airports and highways will bear his name, ensuring that his impact on American infrastructure and mobility is recognized and celebrated for generations to come.

The aftermath: A unified front of back-pats.

In the end, the Democrats have been putting on a very public spectacular show of unity and gratitude ever since Biden’s announcement on Sunday. They’ve managed to oust Biden without actually saying they ousted him, all while lavishing him with praise. It’s a political ballet of back-pats and accolades as they try to dig out of the mess they have created for themselves.

Yes, the same bullies who pushed Joe out are now fawning over him like he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. These are the very people who were aware of his diminished state but kept up the act (including Kamala) – but ultimately got caught in the act. They’re far from heroes, and their opinions are actually quite worthless – as worthless as they have always been especially when it pertains to the competency of a Democratic presidential candidate.
