Democrats are masters of saying one thing while doing the exact opposite. They have been claiming, after the assassination attempt of former President Trump, that they care about his safety and well- being and they have been condemning violence. But their previous words and actions tell a different story. Let’s not mince words: most of them don’t give a hoot about Trump’s life, despite their phony concern about Orange Man Bad.
And they’re also okay with violence as long as it furthers their political objectives – like their Antifa and BLM riots they justified time and again.
The Democrats have targeted Trump politically, financially, personally and in about every other way possible since he came down the escalator and ran for president. They have lied about him, used the intelligence agencies against him, participated in a coup, had two phony impeachment trials, had phony January 6th hearings, rigged an election, tried to boot him from the ballot, and indicted and convicted him. And now this.
All the while, the elected Democrats (and many of their supporters) and their leftist co-conspirators in the media have called Trump “Hitler” and about every other name under the sun – claiming that his very existence means the end of democracy in the United States.
But that’s not all…
Bennie Thompson’s gimmick: The “Disgraced Former Protectees Act”
In April, using their phony lawfare targeting against Trump, knowing that he’d get convicted eventually of SOMETHING, they came up with legislation to cancel Trump’s secret service protection. Congressman Bernie Thompson from Mississippi introduced this bill, HR 8081, which as the bill states, is to “terminate United States Secret Service protection for felons.”
It’s called the “Denying Infinite Security and Government Resources Allocated Toward Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable Former Protectees Act” or “DISGRACED Former Protectees Act” for short.
Aren’t they cute with their TDS acronyms?!
According to Thompson, this bill ensures that convicted felons, even former presidents, get no special treatment. This is another political “hit job” by the Dems dressed up as a legislative reform – which, if passed before this weekend, would have most likely ended up with a successful hit job i.e. with the death of Donald J. Trump.
Democrats’ crocodile tears over assassination attempt.
After the assassination attempt on Trump this weekend, top Democrats couldn’t pretend to be concerned about “Donald” (what Biden called him) fast enough.Biden’s team even expeditiously
yanked their anti-Trump TV ads. But it’s not out of any kind of decency or concern for Trump. It’s because they have heated inciteful rhetoric in their ads that they don’t want being seen by the masses after someone tried to kill Orange Man Bad.
But let’s be real: these were just hollow gestures so that the Dems APPEAR caring and…well, human. Which most of them are NOT.
If the Democrats truly cared, they wouldn’t be undermining Trump’s security with such reckless abandon – or spending so much of their time since 2016 trying to take him down and making him the worse scourge on the planet since…EVER.
The GOP’s righteous indignation.
Meanwhile, Republicans like JD Vance and Vivek Ramaswamy haven’t been mincing words either. They squarely blamed Biden’s toxic rhetoric for inciting violence against Trump. Vance pointed out that the Biden campaign has painted Trump as a fascist dictator who must be stopped at any cost. Is it any wonder that this kind of inflammatory language would lead to real-world violence?
Biden’s bullseye comment: a slip or a strategy?
Remember when Biden posted on social media recently about putting Trump in a “bullseye“? That post resurfaced over the weekend, reminding everyone about the apocalyptic reaction by Democrats and the media to something that former Republican VP presidential candidate Sarah Palin posted on social media.
She had featured a map with crosshairs over tight congressional races including Democratic Rep. Gabby Gifford’s district (she was shot at). The Dems called on Republicans to denounce the “rhetoric of violence” that they said Palin’s post represented. But it’s crickets – or excuses – for Biden’s “bullseye” comment.
No, they say that Biden had nothing to do with the attempted Trump assassination. What Biden said was just a poor choice of a metaphor, not dangerous incitement they argue.
All the while, the Democrats are scrambling to cover their tracks, pretending that they had no part in creating our current volatile atmosphere. Just like their cover-up of Biden’s mental state, we’re supposed to be stupid and not notice what’s been going on.
Democrats’ legislative theatre: just another act.
Thompson’s DISGRACED Act bill (which is truly a disgrace), was co-sponsored by a laundry list of Democrats including Reps: Barbara Lee (CA), Frederica S. Wilson (FL), Troy Carter (LA), Yvette D. Clarke (NY), Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ), Jasmine Crockett (TX), Joyce Beatty (OH), and Steve Cohen (TN).
You might have noticed that six of the eight sponsors are WOMEN. Isn’t nice and GREAT DIVERSITY to have such lovely caring Democratic women in Congress? (insert sarcasm here)
The aftermath: blood on the hands of Democrats.
The assassination attempt on Trump was a wake-up call, but the Democrats’ response was predictably shallow. Their primary concern doesn’t seem to be the safety of a former president but rather damage control for their political brand. Hence all of the statements on X.
And as far as Biden’s concern for Trump goes…it should be noted that Biden took almost two hours to make a statement about the attempt on Trump’s life. He is no leader. He is no “uniter” of the country. He had no expedited rush to condemn what happen or to comfort a grieving nation.
Trump emerges as a warrior, despite relentless attacks.
Trump, on the other hand, emerged as a warrior – bloodied and hurt, he rose above those who have tried to destroy him – literally this time.
And now, as usual, the Democrats are trying to sweep their culpability under the rug like the true losers and cowards that they are. The assassination attempt on Trump is a direct result of their toxic political climate – their purposeful words and actions to destroy someone whose only mission is to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.
Democrats’ lip service can’t hide their true intentions.
The Democrats’ lip service that we are seeing all over social media does nothing to mask their underlying apathy and outright hatred for Donald Trump.
When it comes to the life of former President Trump, Democrat lawmakers’ actions speak louder than their hollow words. Their legislative moves, like the DISGRACED Former Protectees Act, are not about justice or safety but rather a relentless pursuit to undermine and destroy Trump.
It’s time to see through their façade and hold them accountable for the dangerous climate they’ve fostered.
