The hurried push to make Kamala Harris the Democrats’ “unanimous” nominee is complete—save the blessing of Barack Obama, but that will likely come in Chicago.
It took only 31 hours for Joe Biden to issue what amounted to an email giving up his run for President and for Kamala Harris to become the presumptive nominee.
Every other major Democrat except Obama is now in line and they are claiming this process to coronate Harris was fair and by Democrat standards—which is true because they don’t have standards, just objectives and agendas.
Some things will never change. Say one thing, do another.
Democrats who scream about democracy about as often as they accuse Trump of being racist are now dumping democracy altogether and not allowing any challenge to Harris.
News flash—it was all rigged again! It’s all they know!
They railroaded Bernie back in ’16 and forced Mayor Pete, Amy Klobuchar, and others out of the way to make Biden the candidate in ’20. They buried any challengers this time around like Bobby Kennedy, who found the dishonest Democrats so out of line that he left the party to run on a third-party ticket.
And you must wonder if this fires up Kennedy’s run for president by disenfranchised Democrats who are not impressed with cackling Kamala.
The whole nominating process ended less than two days after it began when Senator Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries both came out to throw their support behind the new standard bearer—but it was not exactly a crowd on fire with enthusiasm.
It was a tough crowd because Kamala Harris is not a great candidate. But I can tell you that for the next 105 days, she is going to be painted as the greatest, most consequential, and transformational person to ever seek the office of President of the United States.
And she is the shining star of unity—which is pretty strange considering pretty much nobody was allowed to weigh in on the so-called process—which was nothing more than a bloodless coup.
Now, the left-wing media is pushing out a new approved talking point on one of Kamala’s most vulnerable weaknesses—her role as Border Czar—something that was a miserable failure.
I speculated over the past couple of years that Harris was pushed into the role of Border Czar so she could be the sacrificial lamb and take the blame for the massive failures of the open border.
And what is the new talking point from the media and the Democrats? Well, even though it was repeatedly said, they are now claiming Harris was never actually the Border Czar.
The fawning over Kamala has gone into hyper mode—and it took no time at all to do it.
I am asking my liberal friends from all walks of life whether they will vote for Harris this fall.
I asked five Biden voters that I know and here is what I got.
The first said he would vote for Harris if she was a tree stump—fair enough.
But then it gets a lot more interesting. One man in his twenties says he would not vote for Biden, and he is not impressed with Harris—but today would vote for Trump.
A woman in her mid-fifties says Harris is a global embarrassment because she fails to support Israel and will be voting for Trump.
Another liberal Democrat, a woman in her mid-30s is 50/50 right now but leaning toward Trump because she doesn’t believe Harris is smart enough to be President—and the last, a man in his 50’s, is about 50/50 as well.
This is not a scientific poll but out of five Biden voters I know, only one is still with Harris, two are voting for Trump, and the other two are 50/50 at best. That is not a good sign for those thinking they can prop up Kamala as the great savior and transformational candidate.
Let’s look at what Kamala stands for. She said the BLM rioters in Minneapolis shouldn’t “let up,” supports ending private health insurance, supports health insurance for illegal aliens, defunding the police, and so much more.
There are a lot of things that will come back to haunt Harris in political commercials for the next 105 days or so.
