Christopher Wray, the director under the incompetent and partisan Trump-hating FBI, a shill for the Democratic Party like every other agency under the Biden-Harris administration, tried to pass off the attempted assassination of former President Donald J. Trump as possibly just “shrapnel” and not a bullet that hit him on his ear, leaving him injured and bloody.
Not that it really matters because plenty of people across the planet have been killed from “shrapnel.”
However, it was just more BS that we have come to expect from the FBI whose leadership no longer has any credibility at all. Even the layman (or woman) knew that Wray was full of crap. Let’s see…
- We have a photo of the actual bullet flying right next to Trump.
- Wray brought forth zero evidence that he had any broken or even chipped equipment (or bullets) in the vicinity of the shot that could explain “shrapnel.”
- Wray brought forth zero information on his agency accounting for all of the bullets and any assurances that they recreated the crime scene and can account for what happened.
- Trump’s doctor said it was a bullet – and from every crime show that I have ever seen, the medical information from doctors and from the medical examiner is the evidence that is used in court.
After Wray’s testimony in front of the House Judiciary Committee got out, he was rightfully ridiculed and admonished for his idiocy. And now, the FBI is “officially” acknowledging what the rest of us already know – that, yes, Trump was indeed hit by a bullet during an assassination attempt earlier this month.
In a statement, the FBI finally said what we all already have known from the beginning: “What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle.”
This revelation comes after the Bureau’s initial bumbling and fumbling explanations, which ranged from saying it might have been “glass” to maybe it was “shrapnel,” leaving us wondering if they were investigating a shooting or if they were involved a high school science experiment gone wrong. Or if they are just liars.

His “stellar” performance could have included the phrases, “I’m not sure what hit Trump,” or “it could have been anything” but he didn’t want to go quite that far for Team Democrat.

Enter Sen. Lindsey Graham, the unsung hero who pressured Wray to retract his disinformational testimony. Graham, not known for mincing words, made it clear that the American people deserved better than a game of “guess what hit the president.”
And surprise, surprise, the FBI finally coughed up the truth: it was a bullet. Not a shard of glass, not a piece of shrapnel, not a Chick-fil-A nugget…but an actual bullet. Who would have thought? Hm… that would be every other person on the planet except those who want to spin their anti-Trump lies.

Of course, former President Trump didn’t miss a beat. Taking to Truth Social after Wray’s testimony, he clarified, “No, it was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard. There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a ‘bullet wound to the ear,’ and that is what it was.”

In the end, this debacle highlights the ongoing incompetence and dishonesty within the FBI under the Biden administration. It took a public spectacle to drag the truth out into the open.
So, next time you hear the FBI’s latest announcement concerning Trump or any other Republican, remember this saga and take it with a grain of salt.
Unfortunately, these are the folks who are investigating the attempted assassination – so will never get the truth. It’s a truth is more elusive than a politician’s promise during election season, and the American people are left to navigate this Democratic TDS swamp of deceit and cover-ups as long as the Democrats are in power.
