In a move that has left Washington’s rumor mills spinning faster than a Taylor Swift breakup song, the Democratic Party is ignoring the will of their voters (big surprise) and, as usual is the case with the men in Kamala’s life, have installed the done-nothing DEI-hired VP as the rightful owner of the Democratic nomination for president without earning a darn thing.
And it’s not me or Trump or any Republicans who came up with the DEI notion. It was Biden who said at the time that he was considering four black women as his VP. Biden and the Democrats are the ones who decided that gender, and then race, were the most important qualifications when the old man was picking a VP candidate. That was at the urging of Black Democrat Jim Clyburn from South Carolina who fervently encouraged him to choose a Black woman (i.e. I’ll help you get elected with the help of the Black community if you comply).
Did Kamala do any work at all to get this opportunity? As usual, no. Nothing at all. She slept her way into politics (Google Willie Brown) and now she gets the nod because if she didn’t, it would be racist and sexist.
Now that Biden is out of the race and no longer a drag on the Democratic ticket, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is downright giddy with delight after successfully helping to orchestrate the political equivalent of a corporate hostile takeover. The coup is complete and Schumer is so excited that he just can’t hide it!
81-year-old President Joe Biden, long seen as the slightly senile captain of the Democratic Titanic, has been quietly shuffled off stage by 73-year old Schumer and 84-year-old Nancy Pelosi and all the rest of Joe’s supposed “friends” who decided to replace him with a younger and darker candidate with less testosterone.
Schumer’s “coup de glee.”
Whispers of Schumer’s involvement in the coup against Biden have been circulating for a while, but recent events have thrown them into sharp relief with the New York Post and others are reporting the threats that Biden received if he didn’t step down including his “friends” invoking the 25th Amendment against him.
His eyes twinkling, his Viagra taking effect, Schumer was clearly excited on Tuesday at his press conference with House Minority Leader Democrat, Hakeem Jeffries. In his endorsement for VP Harris as the new presidential nominee, Schumer gushed, “Today is a great, great day for the Democratic Party and the country. We are brimming with excitement, enthusiasm, unity.”
He continued to say, “(Joe) Has given the party an opportunity to unite behind a new nominee, and boy oh boy are we enthusiastic. Now that the process has played out … we are here today to throw our support behind Vice President Kamala Harris.”
The process? Is that what they call a mutiny these days in Democratic circles? An insurrection? Good-bye, January 6th, hello July 21st. Democracy always dies in the darkness with these folks – and in the light and sunshine as well. They just spin things very well to their advantage.
Schumer and Kamala need to get a room.
So Schumer is thrilled beyond measure over the demise of Biden as the anti-Trump presidential opponent. Fired up…jubilant…He’s practically glowing. It was a “great great day” and “boy oh boy” he raved, practically jumping up and down.
It was as if Schumer was able to get rid of his old dowdy wife, Iris, and get a new fresh one with long legs and blonde hair named “Kiki.”
Kamala Harris: The new darling.
With Biden now out of the picture, Schumer has turned his attention to propping up Vice President Kamala Harris as the new Democratic darling along with everyone else even though she’s a horrid candidate and has done nothing of substance while she has been VP.
Harris, for her part, has embraced her newfound prominence with the enthusiasm of a starlet accepting an Oscar for a movie she wasn’t even a decent supporting actress in, flashing her trademark grin and cackling at every opportunity.
Quotes that haven’t age well.
Only 12 days before Biden was forced out, lyin’ backstabbin’ Schumer had been saying, “I’m with Joe!” Before that he and his other “friends” had declared Biden as the leader everyone needed for the challenging times we are facing. Guess not.
Now, Schumer’s tune has changed. In other words, “Thanks for keeping the seat warm, Joe.”
Schumer laughably said in his press conference that Harris wanted the opportunity to “win the nomination” from the “grassroots up, not top-down.”
That’s a joke. The job was HANDED to her from the top – from the elitist and power-hungry Democratic politicians in office, the donors, the celebrities, the media…HANDED to her.
Kamala’s popularity is still at the bottom of the barrel.
No, there was no groundswell to choose Kamala from their own voters. In fact, she has been, for a long time, polling even lower than Biden in popularity – even among Democrats. And Joe’s been polling pretty low. Even on July 23rd (Tuesday), according to FiveThirtyEight, Harris only had a 37.8% approval rating with Americans.
There is also no debate happening on the floor of the stupid Undemocratic fake convention happening in November which will now just be a convention to market and rebrand Kamala since her nomination will be set before then. So no discussions or debates on why Kamala deserves the nomination. Instead, it’s just a coronation. Like I said, this is being HANDED TO HER: a plan to turn the DEI VP into the DEI P.
The Democrat elites have decided what was going to happen and it is so.
And Chuckie Schumer couldn’t be happier unless he were handed the keys to the White House himself.
