Democratic celebrities who like to spend a majority of their time and money propping up ANYONE running against former President Donald J. Trump, are finding that Biden isn’t exactly a great choice either. After seeing his dismal performance at the debate with their own eyes, they’re not feeling so great about old man Biden’s chances of beating Orange Man Bad in November.
Therefore, it’s out with the old and in with the new.
Jon Stewart drops the hammer on Biden’s excuses.
Entering the fray of giving Biden the boot, Jon Stewart isn’t pulling any punches. On his Daily Show platform, the comedian blasted President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party for their laughable excuses following Biden’s trainwreck debate performance against Donald Trump.
Jet lag? A cold? Come on, guys. Stewart called out the “blatant bull****” and demanded a serious conversation about Biden’s future, especially with his age and health under the microscope.
Stewart ranted on his show about how the president doesn’t seem concerned about the emergency of the coming fascism of a President Trump and how there are no “participation trophies in end-game democracy.”
Debating the undebatable: Biden’s debate disaster.
The June 27th debate, as we all know was a disaster for the Dems, with Biden stumbling through his sentences and barely stringing two words together. Stewart was livid, accusing the Democrats of hypocrisy. “For a campaign based on honesty and decency, the spin about the debate appears to be blatant bulls**t,” he fumed. Stewart didn’t hold back, noting the very real threat of another Trump administration, but he emphasized that Biden’s inability to handle the job was also a dire issue.
Michael Moore cries elder abuse.
Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore took things a step further, labeling the continued push for Biden’s candidacy as “elder abuse.” On MSNBC’s “Ayman,” Moore painted a grim picture of Biden’s debate performance, likening it to watching an elderly relative struggle. “Why did they let him go out on the stage in this condition?” Moore demanded. He called for a full medical evaluation of Biden, insisting that the public deserves to know if the president is fit to serve another term, let alone be the Democratic nominee to be president.
Moore added, “Something was wrong that night. We all saw it. We can’t unsee it, and, as Richard Pryor and before that Chico Marx said, who are you going to believe? Me or your own lying eyes? My eyes weren’t lying and yours weren’t either…We need independent doctors or a doctor that will do a neurological exam, a full medical evaluation. Why don’t they do that? If it is all good, it will put to rest so much of this and then they can say he had a bad night. But they are not doing that. Why are they risking our country?”
In addition to Moore and Stewart, other celebrities are thinking twice [1] about supporting President Dementia as well. There’s “Meathead” Rob Reiner (who needs therapy because he posts about Trump EVERY SINGLE DAY) is also asking questions about Biden’s competency, saying it’s time to “stop f****** around” and tell Biden to move on. Actor John Cusack also reposted Meathead’s post on X.
Add to that Stephen King’s post, “Joe Biden has been a fine president, but it’s time for him – in the interests of the America he so clearly loves – to announce he will not run for re-election.”
As the 2024 election looms, the tide is turning for many of Hollywood’s liberal elite. Their once steadfast support for President Joe Biden is wavering, and some are not hiding it anymore.
With Jon Stewart and Michael Moore leading the charge, the cracks in the Democratic facade are becoming too significant to ignore. The celebrities’ vocal dissatisfaction is not just a critique of Biden’s recent debate performance but a call to the Democratic Party to reassess its leadership before it’s too late.
With the Hollywood fans jumping ship, it’s a clear signal that the Democratic Party might have to seriously consider its next steps – especially if their money starts leaving with them.
Whether Biden can turn things around remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: the Democratic base is restless, and their celebrity spokespeople are not afraid to voice it.
