In the latest episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher,” the comedian-turned-political-pundit took aim at his supposed buddy, President Joe Biden, over his handling of immigration. Maher didn’t hold back, suggesting that Biden’s approach to border policy is about as effective as a screen door on a submarine.

Maher’s criticism centered on Biden’s recent executive order, which supposedly caps daily asylum seekers at 2,500 and threatens to shut down the border if that number is exceeded.

Too many people at the party.

Maher quipped, “Fire marshal says ‘No more!’ He’s gonna come here and close the club! And if you don’t have a stamp on your hand, you can’t get back in!”

But Maher’s snark didn’t stop there. He took a swipe at the sheer number of migrants Biden has supposedly let in, claiming more than nine million migrants have entered the US since Biden took office. He said, “That’s more than the number of people who live in Nicaragua. He let in all of Nicaragua.”

Hyperbole aside, Maher’s point was clear: Biden’s lax approach to immigration is leaving the floodgates wide open.

Progressives say Biden being mean to foreign border crossers.

And Maher isn’t alone in his criticism. Democratic firebrands like Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez, and Pramila Jayapal have all taken aim at Biden’s executive order, calling it a “betrayal” of American ideals.

Maher’s ultimate assessment? If Biden tanks in the next election, it’ll be because of his age and immigration. “I don’t think they could have handled it worse,” Maher said.

Ouch. It’s not exactly the kind of endorsement Biden was hoping for from his supposed friend.

Maher sees the absurdity.

But Maher’s criticism wasn’t just about Biden’s policy missteps; it was also a scathing indictment of Democratic spinelessness. Maher lamented, “The question that Democrats don’t seem to be able to have the balls to answer is just how many is too many? And like, infinity is the answer – if you don’t give that answer, you’re a racist.”

In other words, Maher thinks Democrats are too afraid of being labeled racist to set any meaningful limits on immigration. But he’s got it all wrong because the Democrats don’t WANT to set any meaningful limits on immigration. They just want to make it look like they do in the lead up to the election.

According to Maher, Biden’s executive order is a last-minute “Hail Mary pass” that’s destined to fail as Biden desperately attempt to salvage his political career.
