Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, made a poignant and shocking revelation about her health in a heartfelt video statement released by Kensington Palace today.
The 42-year-old royal disclosed that she is currently undergoing chemotherapy following major abdominal surgery she underwent in January, initially believed to be unrelated to cancer.

In the emotionally charged video, filmed in Windsor, Kate candidly shared the challenges her family has faced over the past months, describing it as an “incredibly tough” period.

Sitting outdoors against a backdrop of vibrant daffodils, she expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and solidarity while also offering a message of hope to others battling similar health issues: “For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone.”
Kate, alongside her husband Prince William, took the courageous step to personally inform their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – about her diagnosis, assuring them of her eventual recovery.
