Anyone who thinks there is a path for anyone else besides Trump to become the Republican presidential nominee is deluding themselves.

It’s apparent that Nikki Haley, who is being kept alive by Democrat donors, is hoping that Orange Man Bad either winds up in jail or is otherwise incapacitated so that he can’t continue to run to be the next occupant of the Oval Office.

Why won’t Nikki Haley drop out?

So basically, Haley is hoping for the same ill will on the former president that the Democrats are. What other reason would she not suspend her campaign?

Haley says she wants to give the voters a “choice” – but those voters have been making their choice. Haley just isn’t listening.

Even in her own state of South Carolina where she was governor, she couldn’t get the voters to choose her. She lost the weekend’s presidential primary (even with Democrats crossing over) by about 20%.

Trump has a BIGLY win at CPAC.

And at CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference), they overwhelmingly chose Trump over Haley as their top choice for president with 94% of the vote. Haley got 5%.

Delegates are adding up.

Trump has 110 delegates so far to Haley’s 20. It’s predicted by the Trump campaign he will wrap up the nomination by March 19th, after Super Tuesday that will be on March 5th. 1,215 delegates are needed to win the Republican nomination.
