As the New Hampshire presidential primary gets closer and closer, the list of Republican choices just got smaller with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announcing the suspension of his campaign.
In a video posted to the social media platform X, DeSantis told his supporters, “We don’t have a clear path to victory.”
As he exited stage left, he endorsed the clear frontrunner, former President Donald J. Trump.

Looks like Nikki Haley was right when she predicted that it was a two-party race even though she had done so a little early after coming in third-place in the Iowa caucuses.
It’s now Don vs. Nikki (or “birdbrain” or “Nimrada” as Trump likes to call her).
DeSantis doesn’t seem to be much of a Haley fan either. On his way out, he said, “We can’t go back to the old Republican guard of yesteryear, a repackaged form of warmed-over corporatism that Nikki Haley represents. The days of putting Americans last, of kowtowing to large corporations, of caving to woke ideology are over.”
