Democrats always win their PR game by not only controlling the narrative but also by controlling the information – in other words cheating.
So it’s been two years and 10 months since the riot at the Capitol occurred in Washington D.C. Countless people have been imprisoned, the Democrats used the video footage they wanted to in a Trump impeachment (#2) accusing him of inciting an insurrection, they’ve used it to try to keep Trump off the ballot in numerous states and they’ve used the “insurrection” narrative over and over again to disparage Trump and his supporters. They’ve done all of this with the selective information and videos that they have decided to release to the public.
Now we are learning that House Speaker Mike Johnson has released approximately 44,000 hours of video from Capitol Hill security that was taken on January 6, 2001. And apparently it was a promise he made when he ran for Speaker.
In a statement obtained by Punchbowl News’ Jake Sherman, Johnson says, “Truth and transparency are critical. Today, we will begin immediately posting video on a public website and move as quickly as possible to add to the website nearly all of the footage, more than 40,0000 hours…This decision will provide millions of Americans, criminal defendants, public interest organizations and the media an ability to see for themselves what happened that day, rather than having to rely on the interpretation of a small group of government officials.”
Yes, that would be DEMOCRATIC government officials.
Johnson’s predecessor, former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, had made some footage available to media outlets and Tucker Carlson, but not the general public.
Already, those on the right and left are pointing things out from the video including showing many people coming into the Capitol peacefully while police officers escort them – which this video shows. As Charlie Kirk says, “And jus like that the J6 Committee’s violent insurrection narrative crumbled. The Capitol Police facilitated the protesters passage throughout the building. The vast majority of J6ers should be immediately released.”
