George Washington represents everything that the Democrats detest. Freedom…The Constitution….Plus he was a white male so there’s that.
Because of Washington’s offensiveness to the Biden regime, it comes as no surprise that dressing up as George Washington and entering the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 would result in an arrest – and a sentence of one year in prison.
Isaac Yoder dressed as our Founding Father and first president of the United States and went into the Capitol through an open door on January 6th. While there, for only 18 minutes, he had let others take his photo and spoke to a police officer. After less than 20 minutes, he exited the building when asked to do so by the officer. For that, the FBI spent lots and lots of time and money to hunt him down.
Yoder didn’t participate in any violence. He didn’t even linger as a spectator for hours to watch what was going on. While dressed in his colonial attire, he even discouraged others not to be violent but stopped when he saw it was a lost cause.
For that, he gets to go to federal prison. That’s because the Biden regime will use any means necessary to put everyone who was in the vicinity of the Capitol on January 6th in prison – that includes breaking the law themselves and getting information and evidence without warrants.
Yoder was charged with four misdemeanors (entering and remaining in a restricted building; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building; violent entry and disorderly conduct in the Capitol; and parading, demonstrating or picketing in the Capitol.) He turned down a plea deal.
The government said that jail time was justified because he lied to the prosecutors about what he did that day and showed no remorse.
The un-Justice Department of Obama said, “Such a sentence protects the community, promotes respect for the law, and deters future crime by imposing restrictions on his liberty as a consequence of his behavior.”
George Washington (the real one) had the answer to the tyrannical Democrats running our country. In his farewell address in 1796, he said, “The basis of our political system is the right of the people to make and to alter their constitutions of government.”
That comes (hopefully) on November 5, 2024.
