All across America, when parents learned about the CRT (Critical Race Theory) and DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) crap being taught in their children’s schools, they started showing up at school board meetings to protest against it and call out the leftists for their racist teachings. In what the leftists laughingly call “anti-racism” they teach that Blacks are victims and that whites are evil racists.

An article in American Thinker points out that 18 states have passed laws prohibiting schools from engaging in race-based teaching – and in South Carolina, it’s actually working which I will get to later in this article.

To stop the racist left from doing what they do, the South Carolina legislature added language to legislation aimed at blocking leftist racism and sexism in education.

It says, “For the current fiscal year, of the funds allocated by the Department of Education to school districts, no monies shall be used by any school district or school to provide instruction in, to teach, instruct, or train any administrator, teacher, staff member, or employee to adopt or believe, or to approve for use, make use of, or carry out standards, curricula, lesson plans, textbooks, instructional materials, or instructional practices that serve to inculcate any of the following concepts: (1) one race or sex is inherently superior to another race or sex; (2) an individual, by virtue of his race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously; (3) an individual should be discriminated against or receive adverse treatment solely or partly because of his race or sex; (4) an individual’s moral standing or worth is necessarily determined by his race or sex; (5) an individual, by virtue of his race or sex, bears responsibility for actions committed in the past by other members of the same race or sex; (6) an individual should feel discomfort, guilt, anguish, or any other form of psychological distress on account of his race or sex; (7) meritocracy or traits such as a hard work ethic are racist or sexist, or were created by members of a particular race to oppress members of another race; and (8) fault, blame, or bias should be assigned to a race or sex, or to members of a race or sex because of their race or sex. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as prohibiting any professional development training for teachers related to issues of addressing unconscious bias within the context of teaching certain literary or historical concepts or issues related to the impacts of historical or past discriminatory policies.”

This is a GREAT bill which needs to be implemented all across the fruited plain. To most people, it’s just common sense. To leftists, these are racist words and ideas.

So what happened – and why we know the legislation is working – is that we learned a white leftist teacher in South Carolina didn’t think that the law applied to her and she decorated her classroom with Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ+ paraphernalia. She also had her class read from some Anti-racist” literature– and watch videos. But, alas, two of her students reported her to the school board for violating the new law, with one student saying that one of the books felt like “reading hate propaganda towards white people.” The teacher, according to students, also held up her leftist views of mass shootings and transgender rights. The classrooms, leftists think, are incubators of future Democrats. Indoctrination study halls.

This whole story was exposed by the leftist Washington Post who was very dismayed over the whole thing and framed the teacher as a martyr. She got national attention about the issue, something that most leftists relish in, with the NAACP declaring her an “advocate for the education of all students.”

The teacher, of course, wasn’t fired. And no one showed up with pitchforks at her front door. She wasn’t de-platformed either like the rest of us always are. She was just given two days off (most likely paid) and told to quit doing what she was doing, with a reprimand put in her file. Big deal.

Now she is whining that she can’t “trust” her own students (who are Advanced Placement English Language and Composition (AP Lang) students by the way) when in reality students cannot trust their teachers not to be racist ideological a*holes and instead just teach them math, science, history or whatever they are actually SUPPOSED to be teaching.

And she doesn’t like the fact that the school board listened to the teens instead of her. In an email to her principal and superintendent, she said, “Taking the word of a couple of students over the professional integrity of a seasoned educator is damaging to the relationship between all parties involved.” Yep. Leftist teachers shouldn’t be challenged for spouting political talking points. That is what they truly believe.

Now that the new school year is upon us, she has gone back to the school – but she was scared to go back. Not scared enough to stop her from doing an interview with WaPo and starting up the whole thing again apparently.
