Just the News has reported that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the all-seeing all-knowing king of Covid was getting rich off of the pandemic while Americans were dying.
Due to a Freedom of Information request from transparency watchdog OpenTheBooks.com, more than 1,500 pages of unredacted records were released concerning royalty payments to NIH scientists.
These records identified 37 payments that Fauci received from three companies between 2010 and 2021. In all, the combined payments to NIH scientists for inventions they developed on the job paid for by taxpayer dollars amounts to $325 million over 56,000 transactions.
The amounts of the payments for the individuals was not included in the records nor is what they were paid for. However, the information shows Fauci getting money from Santa Cruz Biotechnology, who creates products for medical research including Covid antibodies and Ancell Corp. who produces immunology tools. Yes, checks were coming in to Fauci during the pandemic.
According to Just the News OpenTheBooks said obtaining the names and license numbers for each payment, which NIH redacted before a court ordered that information made public, are crucial for ‘scrutinizing these records for potential conflicts of interest or public health risks.’”
It will also show if Fauci was telling the truth when he was questioned by Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) during a hearing. Paul was questioning him about the alleged lack of transparency regarding royalty payments to scientists at the NIH from third parties.
Paul asked Fauci, “Can you tell me that you have not received a royalty from any entity that you ever oversaw the distribution of money in research grants?”
Fauci answered, “You know, I don’t know as a fact, but I doubt it.”
Maybe Fauci has so much money going in, he didn’t notice the extra bucks rolling in. At the time of his retirement at the end of 2022, Fauci was the highest paid federal employee with a salary of $480K.
