On Wednesday Microsoft, not exactly a national security hardliner, reported that the Chinese are launching sustained and powerful attacks on our infrastructure.

Microsoft said it has “uncovered stealthy and targeted malicious activity focused on post-compromise credential access and network system discovery aimed at critical infrastructure organizations in the United States.

“The attack is carried out by Volt Typhoon,” Microsoft said. Volt Typhoon is a Chinese state-run firm that specializes in “espionage and information gathering.”

“Microsoft assesses with moderate confidence that this Volt Typhoon campaign is pursuing development of capabilities that could disrupt critical communications infrastructure between the United States and Asia region during future crises,” the statement finishes. They’re referencing an attack on Taiwan.

The U.S. Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and international cybersecurity agencies have issued a joint Cybersecurity Advisory (CSA) warning on this development They think Volt Typhoon, which is a Chicom asset, “could apply the same methods “against infrastructure networks across the U.S. and “other sectors worldwide.”

What are we talking about here? This means the Communist Chinese are probing ways to take down everything from the power grid to your cell phone in the event of a conflict with the United States. They see one coming over Taiwan and if push comes to shove they want to make us pay both on the battlefield and in our everyday lives.

Which means a war has already started that we refuse to fight. Especially when Microsoft, who has been doing business there for decades, warns us about the threat it would behoove us to take heed. But we won’t. Why? Because the Biden administration is owned by the Chinese.

We’ve known for some time, but House Republicans are now bringing the details to light, the extent of the pervasive corruption that permeates the current administration. We today have an executive branch that protects the Biden crime family.

Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich describes Biden’s AG this way, “He’s turned a blind eye to every report of foreign money going to the Biden family. ($3 million in one Chinese transaction, a diamond sent to Hunter Biden, millions of dollars sent by the widow of the Mayor of Moscow, etc.).”

So if and when American forces have to engage the Chinese to defend Taiwan, the head of our troops is an active agent of influence of the Chinese communists. He has been compromised so deeply by the Chinese that his very loyalty to the United States, not to mention his mental condition, is in question. How is this not grounds for immediate impeachment?

It isn’t because, as in the Trump impeachments, the process is meaningless because it’ll never get through the Senate. So here we are, as if Tojo had been our Commander in Chief in 1942. Strange times indeed.
