In another reason to loathe California, earlier this week the LA Dodgers flip flopped on their commitment to ban a virulently anti-Catholic group from their Pride Night event. The Dodgers caved to grown men wearing nun outfits. Sandy Koufax is doing high RPMs in his grave.
“After much thoughtful feedback from our diverse communities, honest conversations within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization and generous discussions with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the Los Angeles Dodgers would like to offer our sincerest apologies to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, members of the LGBTQ+ community and their friends and families,” the organization said. Can you hear the sound of slurping?
“We have asked the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to take their place on the field at our 10th annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night on June 16th. We are pleased to share that they have agreed to receive the gratitude of our collective communities for the lifesaving work that they have done tirelessly for decades.”
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence is a group that viciously mocks Catholics and their faith. If this was one of several other religions, Islam being one, more acceptable to the left the Dodgers wouldn’t dare mock and offend them. But Catholics, as a legitimately conservative faith, have targets on their back. Evangelicals too are in the crossfire, as are any faiths or denominations that have the courage to oppose the hard left agenda.
Oh, I’m making up the threat? Just innocents wanting to take part in a sporting event? Take a gander on YouTube at the aforementioned group. You’ll see how inoffensive and innocent they are. Not bloody much. Do they have the right to be offensive? Absolutely. But, when you go that far Newton’s Third Law comes into play.
You’d think after the Bud Light fiasco and Target’s current travails, (Target is doing perv business with a Satanist) the Dodgers would consider discretion the better part of valor. But hey, it’s California.
From San Francisco to Hollywood the state makes Sodom and Gommorah look like a Baptist church social. It has a governor who is a Ken doll Bolshevik and a state legislature just to the left of Jiang Qing.
So it’s no great surprise that an LA sports team would cave to religious bigots, given the cultural and political sea they swim in. And there’s no use in launching a boycott, as has been so successfully done in regards to the above-mentioned watery beer.
You see, California is filled with the kind of people who would buy Bud Light because it worked with Dylan Mulvaney and his campaign to influence prepubscent kids. As we’ve said before, politics is downstream from culture and California has made it very clear where it stands on both. The rest of us can make it very clear where we stand on California by just staying away from it and letting them sink under the weight of their own fashionable depravity.
