Don’t believe your lyin’ eyes. Reality is not reality when things go wrong with Democrats in charge. Even if you have video of events happening, they will still lie to your face.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has denied over and over again that there is a crisis at the southern border. Never mind that we can see it with our own eyes. But our reality is not Democrat reality. Even last week, on 60 Minutes, Mayorkas couldn’t admit to the reality of a border crisis to CBS News’ Sharyn Alfonsi.

Sharyn Alfonsi: “What the American people see is a border that looks to be chaotic, that looks to be porous.”

Alejandro Mayorkas: “Well, let, let’s, I mean, the number of people that are arriving at our border is at an extraordinary height. There’s no question about that. But that is not unique to the southern border of the United States. There is a tremendous amount of movement throughout the hemisphere and in fact throughout the world.”

Sharyn Alfonsi: “The chief of the border patrol, Raul Ortiz, testified before Congress that some areas of the border are in a crisis situation. Do you agree?”

Alejandro Mayorkas: “I think that we face a very serious challenge in certain parts of the border.” Sharyn Alfonsi: “Do you view what’s happening right now on the border as a crisis?”
Alejandro Mayorkas: “I view it as a significant challenge.”
Sharyn Alfonsi: “Why won’t you say the word ‘crisis?”’

Alejandro Mayorkas: “You know what? Because I have tremendous faith in the people of the Department of Homeland Security. And a crisis speaks to me of a withdrawal from our mission. And, and we are only putting more force and more energy into it.”

On May 11th, when Title 42 ends, we will have an even bigger CRISIS. But to Mayorkas, it’s probably reason to celebrate. A cake and balloons moment. He’s doing the bidding of the Biden administration and unfettered access to the United States is what they want – so why wouldn’t they all celebrate?

Another FUBAR that the Democrats are responsible for is also spun right now. That is President Biden’s disastrous withdrawal out of Afghanistan. The White House came up with a report where they were able to blame Trump for everything. And anything that might actually have been done right, well that was because of the Democrats – and they are proud of what they accomplished. They don’t want anyone pointing any nasty fingers Biden’s way – and even if you do, no one’s going to get an “unhappy face” sticker for what they did.

When Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked White House National Security Spokesperson John Kirby, “Who’s gonna get fired over this?” Kirby actually answered him by saying, “Peter, the purpose of the document that we’re putting out today is to sort of collate the chief reviews and findings of the agencies that did after-action reviews. The purpose of it is NOT accountability, the purpose of it is to study lessons learned.”

Yep, the purpose was NOT accountability.

Kirby actually said that. Actually he said it twice. When answering a further question from Doocy, Kirby said, “This document and this effort isn’t about accountability today, it’s about understanding.”

No kidding. The Democrats accept no accountability for anything. And when their screw ups are spotlighted in the public arena (which rarely happens), the problem is either the fault of the Republicans or Trump. Or both. Democrats are the kings of gaslighting.

The report basically said that President Trump’s actions “severely constrained” the Biden administration. What a joke. They’ve been systematically getting rid of everything Trump did from day one of the Biden presidency. And now they pretend that they couldn’t un-do some Trump stuff that they say “severely constrained” them. That’s just more gaslighting B.S.

Doocy went on to question Kirby. He asked, “You’re saying that you guys are proud of the way that this mission was conducted. Proud of that?”

Incredulously, Kirby said yes. Proud of a lot of things that happened during the withdrawal. Once again, WE saw what happened. With our own eyes. We are not proud. Not one bit.
