There are heads spinning all over Michigan concerning the attack on the second amendment by the Democrat party. In Michigan, gun control legislation is coming out of the state’s legislature fast and furious now that they control the state.
And just yesterday, President Disaster decided to get in the game with his Executive Order to require background checks on firearms to occur prior to the purchase of the firearm.
The president said, “My executive order directs my attorney general to take every lawful action possible possible to move us as close as we can to universal background checks without new legislation.”
The Democrats love that kind of stuff. “Without legislation.” That’s because they know they can’t PASS the legislation that they want to pass. So they do what they want anyway. By any means necessary.
In addition to many other things in this new Executive Order, Biden is also ordering the increased awareness of red-flag laws, something that allows people to petition a court in order to prevent someone from obtaining a gun.
Red flag laws don’t just go against our Second Amendment rights, they violate many of our other rights as well including allowing the government to seize our personal property by force merely because of accusation from another person. Innocent until proven guilty? Not anymore.
The Washington Times says red-flag laws violate the Second, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendments. No due process, no personal property protection, no trial by jury, etc. The Constitution and our rights are easily thrown out the window by Democrats.
Yes, the Democrats (and most of the media) have either not read the Constitution which says, “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Or they just don’t care what it says.
So what does “infringe” mean? According to Merriam-Webster, it means “to encroach upon in a way that violates the rights of another.”
Hm… there seems to be plenty of infringing and plenty of encroaching on our rights by the Democrat party. In fact, it’s a daily occurrence.
