Former VP Mike Pence has been telling us that he’s in prayerful consideration with his family about whether or not to run for president but last night on Fox News’ Sean Hannity Show [1], he said something that removes all doubt for me that he WILL be running – and Hannity totally missed it.
They were talking about the possible indictment of Trump and the Pence was saying that as he traveled the country, people are concerned about “real” issues” that were affecting their lives.
Pence told Hannity, “I’m telling you, whether it’s gasoline prices, the crisis at our border, whether it’s inflation at a forty year high, literally Joe Biden has weakened this country at home and abroad, and we’ve got to have change. And we’ve got to focus on these issues that matter most to the American people. And that’s where I’ll focus.”
AND THAT’S WHERE I’LL FOCUS.
That’s where he’ll focus doing what? Well, that’s obvious. That’s where he’ll focus as a
presidential candidate and a president if he’s elected.
Not where I “would” focus. He said that’s where “I’ll focus.”
Incredulously, the Fox News’ Twitter feed [2] has part of of his statement but NOT the most important part.
Sean Hannity has a tendency to talk more than he listens and it bit him on the behind this time – he missed a big scoop and a chance to follow up on what Pence told him.
