Is it a bird, a plane, Superman, a drone, a weather balloon or it is actually aliens zipping around the skies of the United States? With Biden’s new “UFO Task Force” put in place, it’s unlikely that we’ll ever find out the truth about what is going on.
Between government incompetence, lying and hiding what they do know, American citizens are not privy to the truth about anything these days and UFO information is no different.
The Daily Mail reveals that there have been more than 26,000 reports of UFOs in the United States in the past five years, 636 of them coming out of Michigan.
California has had the most sightings with 2,661, followed by Florida and New York. New Mexico, home of Roswell, only reported 833 UFOs. This information comes from a map out of the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).
Have YOU seen a UFO flying around? If so, you can file a report on their website. The NUFORC group is dedicated to the collection and dissemination of objective UFO data. They were founded in 1974 by UFO investigator Robert J. Gribble who has published many reports and founded many UFO groups over the years – who later turned over his UFO materials to UFO historian Wendy Connors.
Their website says that they have processed over 150K reports and that their website has operated continuously since 1994. Before that, they had to use a telephone hotline and the u.S. mail to take reports. The organization is a non-profit organization and their current director is Peter Davenport who has been the director since 1994.
Overall, since the group’s inception, they have received a total of 3542 reports of UFOs in Michigan including the most recent one in Shelby Township on March 5th. The person making the report says, “I was driving and saw a bright strange looking single round light in the sky that, when it caught my eye, was already falling down towards the Earth, moving slightly faster than free fall speed. As it got closer to the ground it just disappeared, almost as if behind clouds. As it came down I was like ‘what is that? A bomb or something?’ I have never seen a shooting star like that, it looked larger and clearer and just a different kind of light. Hard to explain but it just seemed very different, and I tend to stargaze a fair amount. It did sort of fade out I guess, but not like a shooting star, and it was slower than a shooting star, way slower.”
Reports over the years range from weird lights to drone looking objects and even a report from someone about seeing a UFO flying up to a Blue Angel jet during air show practice in Ypsilanti.
