No Black Academy Award Nominees in Racist Hollywood This Year

In the land of make-believe where people rely on their looks to get a “fake” job, the entertainment industry often over-represents people of color and the LGBTQ community on screens everywhere to show the diversity in their own limited geographic area and industry. They also spend their days virtue signaling that they are the woke and enlightened ones while calling the rest of us racists.

But the anti-racist racists in Hollywood made a boo-boo. The celebrity and non-celebrity Oscar voters didn’t nominate any Black women for “best actress” this year.

That’s right. No Oscars will be handed out to Black women in 2023 for best actress. Don’t worry though because the Oscar “officials” are on the case and looking into one of the White nominees to see if any rules were broken in the campaign to get her nominated.

It’s reported by Breitbart News [1]and other media outlets that British actress Andrea Riseborough secured the nomination with the help of her White celebrity friends who did things like promote her on social media – including Gweyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, Mia Farrow and others.

Breitbart News has also reported that Riseborough has been accused [2] of “white privilege” and taking a spot from Black actresses.

Ashley Reynolds, Senior Celebrity Producer of “The Kelly Clarkson Show” agrees with that assessment and tweeted [3], “A bunch of mainly White actors coming together to get their friend nominated and ultimately push two Black women out?”

Friends of celebrity friends have been pushing their favorite nominees for years and years and years – but with the “woke” crowd in action these days, it has become racist to do that now when it doesn’t work out their way.

The LA Times [4] say that it’s not just the Oscars that “fail Black women. It’s the entire awards ecosystem.” The writer asks, “What does it say that the Black women who did everything the institution asks of them – luxury dinners, private academy screenings, meet-and-greets, splashy television spots and magazine profiles – are ignored when someone who did everything outside of the system is rewarded?”

I’m not sure if the LA Times knows that there are actually (what I would deem racist) awards strictly dedicated [5] to people of color. The list includes the Black Reel Awards, the NAACP Image Awards, the Springarn Medal, the Coretta Scott King Book Awards and more. There’s even separate Miss Black America and Miss Black USA.

There’s also a racist group in our government called the “Congressional Black Caucus” and there are HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities).

Not to mention the fact that there is a whole network devoted to people of color called the BLACK Entertainment Network. And there is a whole month dedicated to people of color coming up in February – Black History Month. But apparently none of this is racist, right? No, it’s all anti-racist just like the hundreds of thousands of dollars being planned to give away per person to Black people in California who are descendants of slaves under the heading of “reparations [6].”

As far as the Academy Awards go, these Oscar voters being called racist only have themselves to blame.

They are on the front lines of race-baiting and virtue signaling every day so it’s nice to see that they are now targets of their own nauseating wokeism.

While a large part of the American public lives in a colorblind society, the Democrats don’t – and can’t allow it to continue if they are to make progress in electoral victories. The entertainment industry continues to be one of their swords in their racist social justice fight whether they adhere to their own rules or not.
