Will Elon Musk remain the CEO of Twitter? And if so, for how long?
On Sunday, December 18th, Twitter owner and business magnate Elon Musk tweeted out “Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.”
The online poll resulted in 57.4% who said YES and 42.5% who said NO. More than 17 million folks voted.
Tuesday night, Just the News [1] reported that Musk said he plans to step down once a successor is found. He said, “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.”
He doesn’t have to take such drastic action though. The position he finds himself in (losing an election) is very easily remedied by adapting the playbook of the Democrats to his election response.
First of all, Musk needs to change the definition of the word “abide” to mean “think about” just like the Democrats have changed the definition of words like vaccine and woman. It’s all about the language.
Secondly, he needs to delete his tweet, ban everyone who voted against him and dox them all – while at the same time having Biden’s “the border is closed” Press Secretary declare a Elon Musk victory.
Thirdly, he needs to convene a December 18th committee to investigate the Twitter insurrection against him.
Fourthly, he should just ignore the results and the “will of the people” by changing the rules. He needs to accept late ballots because I have a couple million boxes of absentee mail-in ballots in my basement that I can lend to him.
If, in the end, he actually decides to stop down, I hope he lets US vote who can run Twitter. I’m thinking that Trump would be a great candidate.
