The blue state of Michigan got even bluer last night with the unofficial wins of the top Democrats – Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Attorney General Dana Nessel, and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson – plus the approval of all three proposals – plus the Michigan Supreme Court holding on to their 4-3 Democratic majority – plus the Democrats now poised to control the Michigan House and Senate for the fist time since 1984.
Now might be the time to start thinking about relocating if you have the opportunity. Maybe you have a second home in Florida that needs to become your first home so you won’t have to live in Michigan tyranny for the next four years.
If you look at the election maps from a distance, you will see a lot of red but it’s still the blue cities that are controlling us. They are different people with different ideas about life and much different morals.
With so many people working remotely now, chances are if you are young or have good resources (and want to get away from your family), this could be your chance to move to a more conservative part of the country that lives and votes for the values that you believe in.
So with the help of the media, the left was able to cruise to a pretty easy victory in Michigan. Even Reuters, which is supposed to be a news organization, can’t stop being pro-Democrat and anti-Republican. They had a headline on Wednesday that said, “Election denier in Michigan loses bid to run 2024 vote in state.”
Yeah, that’s not biased at all.
Republican Secretary of State candidate Karamo lost but they still went after her. It’s what they do. It’s who they are.
So we can cite all kinds of things about why we lost – election shenanigans, bad candidates, media bias, low turnout, etc. but the fact is that we DID lose and now we have to figure out how to deal with the consequences.
In a future article, I’ll delve into that. All is not lost even if it appears to be. There’s always hope. You have to stay in the game to be able to play the game and win the game at some point. Steve Gruber’s show is called the “No panic zone” and I”m going to stick to that premise.
Even if you think you are going to give up on Michigan, it’s not time to give up on the country. It’s not time to panic. It’s time to analyze what happened and prepare for the future.
