During the last debate with Michigan gubernatorial GOP candidate Tudor Dixon, incumbent Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer tried to pull the wool over our eyes and pretend that Michigan kids weren’t home from school and stuck with virtual learning for more than three months. She’s trying to re-write history so we don’t remember the almost 200 Executive Orders she released before the Michigan Supreme Court stopped her.
So here’s just a small reminder of what she did during her bogus and evil “Stay Home, Stay Safe” lockdowns in Michigan and the quotes from her Executive Orders so you remember how stupid they were.
Anyone who has voted or will vote for this woman to be governor again is C-R-A-Z-Y.
You May Only Leave the House When Whitmer Says So…
“Individuals must secure such services and supplies via delivery to the maximum extent possible. As needed, however, individuals may leave the home or place of residence to purchase groceries, take-out food, gasoline, needed medical supplies and other products necessary to maintain the safety, sanitation and basic operation of their residences or motor vehicles.”
“Temporary requirement to suspend activities that are not necessary to sustain or protect life…”
No Big Funerals or Recovery Meetings…
“To attend a funeral, provided that no more than 10 people are in attendance.”
“To attend a meeting of an addition recovery mutual aid society, provided that no more than 10 people are in attendance.”
Travel Restrictions…
“Individuals may travel to return to a home or place of residence from outside of this state and to leave this state for a home or residence elsewhere.”
“All other travel is prohibited, including all travel to vacation rentals.”
Forced Mask-Wearing…
“Any individual able to medically tolerate a face covering must wear a covering over his or her nose and mouth —such as a homemade mask, scarf, bandana, or handkerchief—when in any enclosed public space.”
Defining Who is Essential…
“No person or entity shall operate a business or conduct operations that require workers to leave their homes or places of residence except to the extent that those workers are necessary to sustain or protect life, to conduct minimum basic operations, or to perform a resumed activity within the meaning of this order.”
No Visits With Elderly Relatives…
“Except as otherwise provided by the order of the Director of the DHHS, all health care facilities, residential care facilities, congregate care facilities and juvenile justice facilities must prohibit from entering their facilities any visitors that are not necessary for the provision of medical care, the support of activities of daily living or the exercise of power or attorney or court-appointed guardianship for an individual under the facility’s care…”
Abortions and Liquor OK, Dental Visits Not OK…
While Michiganders had to delay their dental visits and also non-emergency medical procedures (and emergency ones as well), Whitmer declared abortions as “life-sustaining healthcare” during the pandemic and they did not stop during her COVID-19 lockdown.
Her Executive Order with temporary restrictions on non-essential medical and dental procedures exempted “pregnancy-related visits and procedures.”

Oh, and liquor stores were open. But you probably know that if you were trying to get through all of Whitmer’s insane rules of how to live your life.
You Can’t Buy Plants at Home Depot…
You could go to a Home Depot but certain aisles were roped off because the products were not “necessary to maintain the safety, sanitation and basic operations of residences.”
So no paint, flooring, no outdoor gardening center…Somehow the virus was floating around the paint supplies and the plants but not the “safety” items that you were allowed to purchase.
Dictating How You Can Move Around and Where You Can Go…
“Any individual who leaves his or her home or place of resident must follow social distancing measures recommended by the CDC including remaining at least six feet from people from outside the individual’s household to the extent feasible under the circumstances.”
“Persons not part of the same household maintain six feet of distance from one another.”
Closing Businesses…
“Subject to the exceptions in sections 8 and 9, the following places are closed to entry, use and occupancy by members of the public…Indoor theaters, cinemas, performance venues, indoor gyms, fitness centers, recreation centers, sports facilities, exercise studios, amusement parks, arcades, bingo halls, bowling alleys, indoor climbing facilities, indoor dance areas, skating rinks, trampoline parks, carnival rides, water parks, bars, food service establishments…”
Indoor and Outdoor Limitations…
“If it is indoors, the gathering or event does not exceed 10 people.”
“If it is outdoors, the gathering or event does not exceed 100 people.”
How many people you can have in your own home…
Perhaps the most egregious Executive Orders that came out of the Whitmer administration had to do with what you could do in your own homes. I didn’t follow any of her BS orders outside of my house let alone inside.
Here’s what the queen dictator allowed for those who were adhering to her insanity, “Indoor gatherings are prohibited at residential venues, except where no more than 10 persons from no more than 2 households are gathered.”
