The first Dave Chappelle sketch I ever watched, from his old series, was the Clayton Bigsby skit. It was in his opening show.
It featured a Klan member who was blind and thus didn’t know he was actually black. Well, politics imitates art yet again as Krystle Matthews, a black South Carolina Democrat running against prominent black Republican Senator Tim Scott (good luck with that Krystle) ripped off her pointy white hood in a conversation and exposed herself for the nasty little racist she really is. Her conversational partner was a covert provocateur from Project Veritas. Love those guys.
In regards to her white constituents she said, “You ought to know who you’re dealing with. You gotta treat them like sh**. I mean, that’s the only way they’ll respect you. I keep them right here — like under my thumbs. That’s where I keep — like, you have to. Otherwise, they get out of control — like kids.” Senator Bilbo, call your office. She also bragged about funding her campaign with “dope boy money.”
This should be no surprise coming from the party of slavery, Jim Crow, and the Great Society. Even Democrats faked indignation when hearing her lunacy.
“If any of our white counterparts had said the same thing with regards to blacks, the minority community, including myself, would be up in arms calling for that member’s immediate resignation,” Dem State Rep Jurtin Bamberg commented.
State Sen. Brad Hutto, the Democrat state Senate leader, trashed Matthews’ Senate bid, telling AP, “When candidates of either party start making irresponsible statements, beyond what party they’re from, they need to re-evaluate their candidacy, and that’s what needs to happen here.”
Senator Scott himself said, “I think she should apologize for her comments,” he told The Sun News. “The Democrats should condemn her comments. Racial bigotry in any form should be criticized and condemned by all people.”
Scott also said “The voters of this state should be aware of who she is and what she said and let them decide her fate.” Absolutely.
You almost feel sorry for the Dems for having to run this inarticulate megalomaniacal racist for office. That’s what they’re down to. Decades of PC programming have rendered many of them, not all, deaf and dumb when it comes to racism directed against whites.
Not that anybody is going to beat Tim Scott. Popular in his own state, many Republicans, this one included, see him as presidential timber. He’s conservative, eloquent, non-divisive, and has a compelling backstory. A Republican Party that may go through a bloodletting in the 2024 presidential primaries could, in a way out of the mess, look for a candidate who could bring the party together. For an easy victory over Joe Biden or Kamala Harris the party need look no farther than Tim Scott.
